What do you mean by advertisements, the Google Adsense stuff on the sidebar and bottom of the pages?

Yeah, those. They don't show up on my mac but the alt text is "Livejournal" and "come visit livejournal" kinds of things.

Yeah, there's not much I can do about that. It's ads, so cross that one out.
