The Storm Meme

Here's how it works:

RULES
☂ Leave a comment with your character's name and fandom in the subject header!
☂ When you reply to someone else's thread, RNG for a number between 1 and 8. The number you generate corresponds to the type of "storm" your characters are dealing with. The purpose of these is to generate an idea for a mood or event for the thread. Feel free to be a bit creative with things!
☂ Go from there!

  1. Rainbow After the Storm
you can come out now : [a day-in-the-life] : post-series, pre-series, or AU; everything is calm, normal, and safe.

  2. Snow Storm
baby, it's cold outside : [survival, hurt/comfort] : huddle together for warmth, you've got no choice if you want to survive.

  3. Hail Storm
ouch, that stings! : [physical or emotional confrontation] : tempers flare and words fly, this is the fight that's been building for ages.

  4. Rain Storm
you can stand under my umbrella : [fluff] : a moment of sweet and innocent romance, maybe your very first date!

  5. Dust Storm
lost in a strange land : [adventure] : where are you? how will you ever get home?

  6. Thunder Storm
one one-thousand, two one-thousand : [horror] : terror lurks in the dark; confront your fears or cower together.

  7. Fire Storm
is it hot in here or is it just you? : [smut] : honey, you've never looked so fine.

  8. Calm Before the Storm
player's choice : any other number, or any combination.

Your scene can involve literal weather, but it doesn't have to. That's up to you!

[With thin frustration, directed at that first question:] No!

[She won't argue that she needs to find somewhere to warm up, however. The feeling in her legs is fast disappearing and she wriggles her toes worriedly. Ah, at least Dark Boots aren't Equipment Type anymore. Lenalee begins to agree, then cuts herself off at that grudging dinner invitation. "Tall" and "wears a top hat" unfortunately describes two people that Lenalee knows, neither of which are Mana: the Earl (who is tall by way of being monstrously proportioned), and Tyki. She raises her hackles a bit, then catches herself and lowers them again. This is an Allen. If his world is anything like hers, then he can't possibly be talking about Tyki, because up until the Rewinding Town, neither of them had even been aware of what a Noah fundamentally was.]

No, I— haven't... [And she frowns, still tugging at the blanket. It's started to freeze stiff. Going out on a limb, here.] Ah, where's your home, if you don't mind my asking?

[Tilts his head slightly at her reply. The force with which it's delivered makes it as good as a 'yes' to him, but he doesn't push the issue, because it's none of his business. He'd wanted to leave the circus too. Maybe she has a good reason for running away. When she says she hasn't seen Mana, though, the first waver of uncertainty quakes its way across his expression ― then breaks into the most unattractive scowl.]

[ muttering to himself: ]
Tch, why's he always gotta wander off anyhow. Even promised he's gunna wait right'ere this time―

[Comes marching up to Lenalee, tugging his oversized mittens off as he goes. He's careful to keep his left side turned away, but she may still catch a glimpse of red before he drives that hand deep into a pocket and shoves the mittens at her, groceries tucked awkwardly under his left arm.]

[ continuing like he didn't just do that: ]
Don't got one. Me an' my dad gotta room at this inn a few streets from'ere, it ain't posh or nothin' but it beats freezing outside. [ adding with a preemptively defensive hunch of bony shoulders! ] ―He's a good guy.
