Scorpius could hear people moving around outside the bedcurtains, so he did what he did every morning and pulled the blankets closer, cocooning himself in them and then making sure they were firmly over his head so no light got in to bother him. He wasn't a morning person. Everyone knew that. All his dorm mates knew he wasn't a real person until he'd had some coffee, and that Scoprius was perfectly fine with skipping breakfast and stumbling into his first class just as it was about to start. If he really needed to get up, Xavier would deal with him, or sometimes Albus would make the trek from Gryffindor to drag Scorpius to Hogsmede or to the Quidditch pitch for a game.

Kit woke up lying in bed next to Albus and smiled. He kissed the other boy's cheek and then sat back and stretched. Even if they hadn't had sex the night before, it still felt good to wake up next to his boyfriend. Even if Albus's morning hair was ridiculous. It was kind of cute, the way he puffed up in the night. Kit reached out to play with Albus's curls. "Wake up before I start feeling creepy for watching you sleep."

Ana woke up feeling smothered in a happy way. Brutus had his arm around her and was lying half on top of her, holding her close like she was his teddybear. She smiled to herself, shifting and trying to ignore the fact that he was poking her bum. She kissed his hand. "Good morning, Brutus."
