Albus had kind of been missing Scorpius again. And he knew that made him a bad boyfriend. A horrible boyfriend, if you will. But, he couldn't help it. Scorpius was just so... perfect. And he'd loved him for so long it seemed so stupid to not be with him.

But, there was Kit to worry about. Who was currently looking through some sheet music so they could find a song to sing for Valentines day. "Any luck in there?"

"Your best friend loves you," Scorpius pointed out, giving Albus a slightly nervous smile as he played with the hair at the nape of his neck. "He doesn't want to scold you. He wants to coddle you." He wanted to be his boyfriend. To be able to walk through the halls and kiss Albus and hold his hand without worrying about anyone seeing them. To be able to spend Valentine's Day with him. They could go to the zoo and Scorpius could hold Albus's hand the whole time to make up for the time when he'd let go and accidentally hurt his feelings.

	Albus looked up at Scorpius for a moment, then pressed their lips together softly. "I love you." He whispered, letting his hand slide beneath Scorpius's shirt. "I love you so much, Scorpius. 	Albus looked back at Scorpius for a moment and let out a sigh. "I can't date you right away. I promised Kit that I wouldn't. I hurt him enough alright. Don't you think?" 	Scorpius wanted to just jump straight into snogging Albus at dinner, but he nodded. It made sense. Seeing Caspar with Xavier right after their break up had hurt and he hadn't cared about Caspar as deeply as Kit cared about Albus. "Of course," he said. 	"I'm glad that you understand." Albus told Scorpius as he ran his hand up and down the other boy's chest. He smiled a bit, then let out a laugh. 	Scorpius made a soft sound when Albus started kissing his neck, tilting his head for him and burying a hand in Albus's hair. "You are," he said. "Of course you are, Albus.
