Cepheus grumbled when he woke up and his father was standing at the end of his bed. He stared at him for a moment, then sat up and rubbed at his eyes. Seeing Draco Malfoy first thing in the morning was not a good thing. He sighed softly and sat up in his bed, then grabbed the glass of water he kept on his night stand.

"What are you doing here, Dad?" Cepheus asked with a small grumble. "What's wrong?"

	"Scorpius isn't getting fucked in the newspaper," Draco said, raising an eyebrow at Cepheus. "Was he with you at the club? There aren't any pictures of him. 	"No, I don't. She's not going to kill you, Cepheus." Draco sighed, wrapping an arm around his son and coaxing him out of the room. "We're Flooing to the manor from the common room. Rider will inevitably side with your mother, but Charlie and I will do our best for you. Charlie says James has a good heart, and he's in a better position to judge than the rest of us." After hesitating for a moment, Cepheus looked up at his father and nodded. "James is a good person." When he wasn't being a twat. "And I love him. A lot. Mum isn't going to take that away from me. I won't let her."

He pulled away when they reached the floo and sighed softly. "She's going to murder me."

Pansy was sitting in her sitting area with a cup of tea grasped tightly by her fingers. Tears were streaming down her face and she was a nervous wreck.

"She's not going to murder you. She's worried for you," Draco said, touching Cepheus's hair and then calling out the address for Malfoy Manor and pushing Cepheus through ahead of him. They came out in front of Pansy, who looked terrible.

Rider came into the room with a flash of whiskey in case of emergencies, walking up to Pansy and squeezing her shoulder when Cepheus and Draco appeared. "He's here," he said. "Everything's going to be okay, Pansy."

	Pansy pushed Rider's hand off of her shoulder. She was in no mood to be touched in a squeezing manner. She stood from the couch and moved over to where Cepheus was, then wrapped her arms around her son. "I'll kill them all." She informed him. "Mum.." Cepheus sighed and hugged her back, then pulled away. "Calm down. It's not a big deal." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"It is," Draco said, shaking his head. "You just don't realize it because you're young and in love." He sighed, crossing his arms over his chest and leaning against the fireplace. "Too young. I have a friend looking into persecuting the magazine for publishing those pictures." He looked at Pansy. "He's going to be okay, Pans. He's here. He's safe."

Rider took a swig of the whiskey he'd brought and took a seat. "What about the other boy? Potter?"

Cepheus pulled away from his mother again and went over to sit beside Rider. "What about him?" He asked as he looked up at him and frowned. "I haven't gotten to see him this morning. He's probably upset. Maybe I should owl-"

"No." Pansy looked back at Cepheus and shook her head. "You're not going to owl him or communicate with him. You're going to sit here so I can make sure no one hurts you."

"Pansy," Draco said, touching her arm. "Cepheus will be okay. He'll be away for the worst of the whispering and then he'll go back to school and he'll be fine. Nobody is going to hurt you." He knew she was reacting like this because of what Lucius had done to her, but there was no Lucius to hurt Cepheus.

Rider sighed and looked down at Cepheus, offering him the whiskey. "Your mother just wants you to be safe. It's a bit hard for us to believe your older boyfriend is looking out for your best interests when photos like this get published."

	Pansy looked at Rider for a moment and frowned at him. "This is Potter's fault for not being careful. I know you'd never go to a place like that on your own, Cepheus." She gave Rider a pointed look. "I'm not pretending anything," Rider said, shaking his head. "At least we were in the school, not some bloody club filled with men twice Cepheus's age. He should know better than to let some boy take him someplace like that."

Draco cleared his throat. "Cepheus is gay and a teenager and he's going to explore and want to go to clubs with his boyfriend because that is what gay teenagers do, when they're not raising kids and attending three different schools to finish their education." How had he become the voice of reason? This felt unnatural. "Pansy, nothing like what happened before is ever going to happen to Cepheus. I made sure of that. And considering the same thing happened to the pair of you and I ended up with someone who used to be my professor, I don't think any of us can lecture about responsibility and Cepheus's boyfriend. He says he's in love with Potter."

	Cepheus felt very confused as he looked between all the so-called adults in the room. He frowned a bit and shook his head, sitting up from where he was sitting on the couch. "What the bloody hell are you three talking about?" He asked, suddenly feeling very grumpy. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Draco glanced between Pansy and Rider and then sighed, sitting in a chair across from the couch. "It's complicated," he said. "Something similar happened to Rider and your mother when she was your age. Although not in a club they were too young to be in and not as filthy as the pictures of you. Things got... very bad and very complicated for a while because of the photos."

Rider sighed, looking down at Cepheus. "Your grandfather was a dick, is what happened," he said.

Draco didn't want to answer the question completely truthfully. Scorpius may have discovered the truth on his own because Charlie's brother wasn't nearly as talented as he thought he was, but they could still keep some things from Cepheus. "Punished her," he said, voice soft. "For making a fool of me, supposedly, but really because he was a prick who wanted to own the people in his life. He beat her and then locked her up here with my mother. I defended Pansy's right to love whoever she wanted and told Lucius I was gay anyway and he sent me to Durmstrang."

Rider got up from the couch, touching Pansy's shoulder gently and then attempting to wrap his arms around her. "He was a dick," he repeated.

	Pansy shook her head and pushed Rider away as she began to shake. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, getting up from the couch. "I'll be in my rooms. Rider. Leave me alone."
