Charlie stood in Malfoy Manor, placing the silver-paper wrapped gift he'd gotten for Draco. It wasn't anything spectacular. Just a silver pocketwatch with dragons engraved into it. It would do him well at his job at the ministry, which is what this party was for to begin with. He glanced at Rider. "When is Draco going to be here?"

"Soon." Pansy replied as she held Scorpius in one arm and Cepheus on the other. She smiled at the small pile or presents that were there. "I got him a strawberry-vanilla cake. I hope that's okay with him. It's what I'm craving." Which she didn't need to crave anything. She was as big as a house, pregnant with a Macnair.

Pyxis was wearing a sling on her arm and had a huge black eye from getting beat up at work. A man at a pub had hit her really good and thrown her across the room, breaking her arm in four different places. Now it was just sore. But, there were other things on her mind. She walked up to Rider. "I need to talk to you."

"Why do you need more time?" Pansy asked as she looked back at Draco. "I realise that you and I are both young and wild and free. But, that man loves you. And he loves your children. He helped protect you after what happened. He lied to Aurors." She shook her head. "Why isn't that enough for you?"

"I've missed you." Pyxis replied quietly, closing her eyes and pressing close to him. "I never stopped loving you, Walden. I just... needed to take time to myself and remember that I'm not a weak girl." She looked up at him. "I'm not quitting my job either."

"It's not about someone... being enough for me, Pansy. I know he's... That Charlie is amazing and I should be with him. But I'm never going to deserve everything he's done for me." Charlie scanned the party for Charlie. "I cheated on him after he told me he loved me because I was scared of being hurt. Charlie deserves much, much better."

"I don't want you to," Walden said, leaning down and brushing their lips together. "I would never ask you to quit your job when I know I don't want to quit mine. I... I think this is good, Pyxis. This will be good. And I'm sure Rider will help with the baby. He's good with kids."

"Aren't you supposed to tell me there are plenty of fish in the see or something?" Draco asked, looking at Pansy and sighing. "Not that this is my one chance at love and happiness?" She was probably right though. He'd be an idiot if he kept pushing away someone who'd done so much for him. "I should go find Charlie again."

Walden shrugged. "He doesn't have a job," he pointed out. "He can be our baby's nanny while we're both at work. Once our maternity and paternity leave is over, I mean."

"Okay. Just put the babies down in the pen we have over there." Pansy told Draco and then kissed his forehead. "That way the two of you can be alone." She walked away from him and joined Rider. "Stop staring at him like that or I'll snog him just to make you angry."

Pyxis looked down at her now flat stomach. "I'm going to be as big as a house. You'll have to carry me everywhere. I'll be fat like Pansy."

Draco sighed and did as he was told, taking Cepheus to the pen and putting him down. He kissed his son on the forehead, then went in search of Charlie and Scorpius. "Charlie? Can we talk? Again, I mean."

Rider grumbled, wrapping his arms around Pansy and kissing her again. "I can't help it. I get the distinct impression from him that he'd love to shag you senseless. The way I do. Only he wouldn't be as good as I am at it."

Walden laughed. "She's not fat. She's pregnant. And you'll be pregnant with my child, so I think I'll like it. I'll probably feel proud of myself every time I look at you."

Charlie looked back at Draco and nodded. "Yeah. Sure." He told him, even if he was feeling off put by their earlier conversation. He ran his eyes over the other boy and then put Scorpius down in the pen as well. "Do you want to talk alone?"

Pansy smiled up at Rider and then kissed him softly. "I love you, Rider. I wouldn't shag anyone else. Okay?" She ran her fingers over his mohawk.

Pyxis snorted at him. "Proud of yourself for fucking me senseless and filling me with a baby?" She arched a brow. "I hope you can deal with how horny I'll be. I'm going to make you go down on me. All day."

"Yes," Draco said. He reached out and took Charlie's hand, leading him away from the party, to the library. He closed the door behind them and then turned to face Charlie. "I think we should go out. On a date."

"I know you woudn't," Rider told her. "You should at least let me be jealous. Bill flirts with you." He kissed her again. "I suppose he flirts with Narcissa too. Maybe I shouldn't take it so seriously." He looked down at her giant stomach, touching it gently. "How much longer do we have to wait?"

Walden laughed, kissing Pyxis again. "I'll be okay with that," he promised. He kissed her again, humming softly against her lips. "I love you. I'm going to make it my mission to try and keep you happy from now on."
