Charlie had gotten a pretty desperate message from Pansy about Draco needing some time off. Something about how he'd studied so much he'd become a boring person. And Charlie had to take a bit to even decide whether or not he wanted to talk to Draco. They'd gotten along fine the night Draco had spent at his house eating and chatting, but there would always be a little soreness there.

But, Pansy had been persistent in him spending time with Draco. Even if he was busy himself. He arrived at Malfoy Manor, dressed semi-casual for a change, and knocked on the door, waiting for Draco to answer.

Draco looked up from the book he was reading when there was a knock on the door, rubbing his eyes and then putting it down. His mother had the babies and Pansy and Rider were doing... something. Probably fucking. It was what they did.

He pushed himself up from his chair and ran a hand through his hair to try and make it somewhat presentable for whoever was at the door, and then pulled it open and blinked at Charlie in surprise. "You... hello," he said. "This is a surprise."

	"It's only a surprise for you. Pansy asked me to take you and get you out of the house for the day." Charlie told him and then grinned. "So I decided to come get you away from your babies. "I..." Draco wasn't sure about this. Pansy couldn't ever keep her opinions to herself, could she? He glanced back towards the room where his books were sitting, and then at Charlie's hand. Going out was appealing, but he wanted to pass his NEWTs.

"Your friend is pregnant?" he repeated, giving in and taking Charlie's hand. "I shouldn't stay out for too long. I really need to study, and there are the babies to think of."

	"Yes. My friend agreed to have a kid for me." Charlie nodded and looked Draco over. He looked a mess. More of a mess than he'd ever expected to see him in. "Shut up, Malfoy." Charlie gave him a grin and pulled him close, apparating them outside of a gay bar. "You're going to have fun and stop thinking about the babies and school for just a moment." Draco looked up at the bar, then raised an eyebrow at Charlie. "I'm a mess," he said, reaching up to try and smooth down his hair again. "They're not even going to let me into the bar looking like this. I have bags under my eyes and I haven't done anything to my hair."

He paused for a moment, thinking about Charlie having a baby. They'd talked about it the night of the Yule Ball. "Just wait until your friend has the baby. Then you'll know what this feels like."

He looked him over carefully, then cast a spell to make Draco's shirt tighter, then messed with his hair just a tiny bit. He laughed. "Well. I'm sure I'll be fine. Draco looked down at his shirt when Charlie re-sized it. At least it didn't have any stains on it. His fashion sense had suffered somewhat since becoming a parent. "At least I've gained back some of the weight I lost as Durmstrang."

He smiled at Charlie a little. "You have no idea how appealing that sounds. I can't wait to be done with my NEWTs, not that that will change much. It'll give me more time to sleep, at least, as long as the babies have learned to sleep through the night by then. Pansy is willing to look after Cepheus occassionally now, but I think Scorpius gets lonely without his brother to share a crib. He cries all night."

	Charlie walked Draco up to the door and then stepped inside with him. He glanced at Draco for a moment, thinking about what he'd said about his baby. Draco was so invested in being a father. "Really?" Draco wasn't sure he trusted other people with his kids, but having someone else around to look out for them sounded like heaven. And Charlie did seem like he'd be great with kids. "I guess with that many younger siblings you'd have practice."

He smiled at Charlie. "Thanks. For letting Pansy bully you into this and for the offer. Cepheus and Scorpius are really sweet kids. Scorpius is a bit moody, but Cepheus is a happy baby."
