Kit was excited to see his boyfriend again after days spent apart while they both packed up and spend some last minute time with their families before coming back to Hogwarts. They'd sent texts, but it wasn't alone time, and what Kit really wanted was alone time with his boyfriend. When he saw Albus walking fown the hall, he pounced.

"Hello, handsome." Kit grinned as he wound his arms around one of Albus's. He leaned up and kissed him. "I have the best idea for a duet for us to sing in choir at the end of the week. I just need your Quidditch practice schedule so we can work out when we both have time free for each other."

	Laughing, Albus looked Kit over. "But, it's not really a great romance, is it?" He asked as he looked back at Kit. "I mean, they only know each other a couple of days and then Tony dies." "It's a great romance," Kit said, shrugging. "They loved each other the entire time they were together. There was never any disappointment for either of them because it didn't last very long."

He smiled at Albus. "But considering I'm really hoping neither of us gets killed by a rival gang member, yes. We can sing something more upbeat. What do you think we should sing?"

	Albus looked back at Kit. He didn't think it was a great romance. Great romances were people who were together for a very long time. Like Prince Charming and Cinderella. He shrugged. "I don't know. "We could do... People Will Say We're in Love," Kit suggested, smiling at Albus. "That song's fun and upbeat. We can dance around to it. There isn't any implied date rape in it either, which will be a nice change from Baby, It's Cold Outside."

He leaned up and kissed his boyfriend for a long moment. "Honestly, I'm just glad we can spend time together again. I missed you. How was Scorpius?"

	"Do you think that we could sing something that's not in a musical?" Albus asked, looking back at Kit. He liked him and he loved singing with him, but everyone always did things from musicals. 	Love Shack was a bit... Love Shacky, but relationships were built on compromise. Kit nodded. "All right. We can get some of the girls to help us out with it. It'll be fun to do as a group number." 	"It will be fun," Kit said. "I can do all the girl parts. I never object to more solos to sing. You should know that." He looked at Albus again. He didn't seem as excited about the duet as he'd hoped. "You never answered me about Scorpius, by the way. How was your day of bonding?" 	Albus thought about the day that he and Scorpius had had. It had been... wonderful. Really wonderful. But, he couldn't admit that to Kit. He couldn't tell him anything about what had actually happened. But, he smiled. "It was great." He admitted. "He and I had breakfast. We bonded again, which was good. I missed him a lot." "That's good," Kit said, smiling at Albus. "When Caspar admits that they're dating the four of us should go to Hogsmede some weekend. Caspar can pretend he and Scorpius are just tagging along or something."

He was a bit jealous of Albus spending so much time with a boy who was so... rich and good looking and gay, but Kit didn't want to be some unreasonable, controlling boyfriend who didn't want Albus to stay friends with someone he'd known forever.

	Albus wasn't so sure he wanted to spend time with Caspar and Scorpius. But, he nodded and looked back at Kit with a warm smile. He wanted to love Kit and not be in love with Scorpius like he was. He kissed his forehead and pulled back a bit, walking towards the Hufflepuff common room. "We can go to yours. The people I room with are perverts." Albus told him with a laugh. "There's another Hufflepuff trait the hat doesn't even mention. We have a sense of propriety when our roommates are snogging their boyfriends. It's not the time to start a conversation." Kit laughed too, squeezing Albus's hand in his.

He felt proud, walking down the hallways of Hogwarts with Albus Potter's hand in his. Especially because he knew there were a lot of people who would love to be in his shoes. "Although they are trying to make me confirm that I'm going to be cheering for Hufflepuff and not Gryffindor in the upcoming game."

He let go of Albus's hand to tap the beat on the barrels, then watched them open. "It's pretty easy this week. The firsties are terrible at remembering them, so they like to ease them into it." Kist kissed Albus back and then smiled. "Good," he said. "You're fantastic, Albus." And, yes, he thought Albus was too good on stage to give it up for Quidditch or potions, but if he wasn't on stage it was less competition for Kit in the future. It was a win either way.

He put his bag down on the floor and then took a seat on his bed, pulling Albus down beside him. "Did you hear the rumour about your brother and Cepheus Malfoy?"

	"That is not a rumour." Albus crawled into the bed beside Kit and kissed his forehead softly. He rested his hand on his boyfriend's side, settling against the pillows. "Cepheus invited him to some dinner. And they snogged or shagged or something. I don't know." Albus wrinkled his nose. "I don't really want to think about it." (Reply to this)(Parent)
