She began writing around the time she was in middle school to cope with a bit of depression due to family problems. She started primarily with poetry, mostly dark with sucidal undertones. Soon, she entered the world of anime and manga, which gave her more fuel for her writing, turning from the depressing poetry to fanfiction. Entering high school, Kei began taking writing a bit more seriously, writing on any paper she could find during class, after class and late at night. Her English teacher in her Freshman year gave her massive amounts of support. In her Junior year, she took a Creative Writing class and found it beyond thrilling. Now being a high school graduate, she's hoping to begin work on a novel (or two), in hopes of being a published author. Some of Kei's favorite authors whom she looks up to are William Shakspeare and S.E.Hinton. The most challenging part about writing, Kei thinks, is thinking of titles.

When it comes to fanfiction, currently her favorite thing to write, she's been dabbling in Yu-Gi-Oh, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Yu Yu Hakusho, Vampire Knight, Inuyasha and quite a few more. She should be getting to work on an actual novel, of course, but with fanfiction, she can't resist! She does have one of her own stories in the works, working out some details, however that's for her to know and you to buy in bookstores when it's released! ♥ ~~A little too hopeful? :3~~ She actually does have a completely different journal for her poetry, combined with her ranting journal, called

speedofsound.
