Vincent Amorason ([info]quitethecharmer) wrote in [info]the_bullpen,
“Oh don't be ridiculous. What's the worst that could happen?” Vincent extinguished the light spell he'd used to illuminate something inside an instrument panel of his latest invention.

“Okay, right there, it's saying things like that that make me skeptical that you ever really lived in Asgard. I just live with Asgardians here on Earth and I'd never be brave enough to say something like that.” Griffen shook his head, but took back the spanner that Vincent extended towards him anyway. “I'm just not as comfortable with the whole casual 'violation of physics' business as you Fantastic types might be.” He furrowed his brow, looking over the rectangular contraption Vincent was still at work on.

“All the theoretical models tested soundly, and this is inspired by one of Reed's old side projects--”

“I still can't believe you call Reed Richards just 'Reed'....” Griffen muttered under his breath.

“--that he never got around to. It should be perfectly alright with being bigger on the inside.” He licked his lips as he reached for the main power switch. “Besides... what's science without some adventure? Goggles on.”
