The fact was that although she knew Amery was at the door at 7:55, she didn't bother to open it ... and rather than slipping on the green dress she'd chosen for the occasion she opted to open the door still in his black skivvies.
Venice arched her brow and didn't bother looking embarrassed. "Oh. Are you a little early?" She left the door open and took her time heading farther back into the flat to get her evening clothes on.
