Sebastian wasn't sure his head could hurt this much without exploding. He was sure when you could feel your heart thumping right above your eye, that meant that something bad was going to happen and you should probably sit down. Was this guy a moron? Did he really think the words coming out of his mouth had any sort of validity? Evan must live in his own little world in his own little head that completely ignored anything he didn't want to hear, and therefore always felt as if he was right.
Because, clearly, Evan Rosier knew exactly what the difference between right and wrong were.
Sebastian's eyes narrowed upon the cigarette, not bothering to hide his grimace at the smoke. So, not only was this man an idiot, he was rude and inconsiderate as well. There was a reason Sebastian didn't smoke, and he sure as hell didn't need Mackenzie smelling it on his shirts and that making her sick, and---yes, his head was going to explode.
"Evan," Sebastian thought that maybe addressing the man by his first name would snap him out of his altered reality, where everything was in slow motion and out of focus, "Just---get the fuck over yourself, okay? I didn't honestly waste a breath or thought worrying about whether you were behind this, or if it was actually true, so, just--"
His fingers pressed harder against the spot where his brain was going to start splurting out of his forehead, and Sebastian's shoulders tensed. Holy fuck, he hated Slytherins. How Mackenzie had managed to come out as normal as she did he had no idea, "We do not have to handle any situation. Mackenzie and I, the Goldsteins are going to deal with it in a way we choose, and you can go slink back into your lair, hm?"
He looked up, absolutely astounded that the one time he didn't freak out and cause a scene, he was still being forced to deal with a subject he was frustrated with.
