timothy g. greengrass ([info]greengrasses) wrote in [info]valesco,
Oh, bloody--did all that really just happen? Her head was so cloudy and numb, and come to think of it, her feet rather were, too, and she just wasn't processing anything. She vaguely felt the blanket being draped around her, but Adamina was shivering too hard for it to do much good immediately. Ugh, her back had been aching for the past two days, she'd been cramping, why did all of this have to happen today?

"Tim, don't be ridiculous, you didn't do anything," she said softly, one hand pressed to her head. "I just panicked so badly because I didn't have a wand, and there was some--some idiot trying to beat up on my husband," she felt the rapid flutters returning to her heart and stomach. "And I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking about running out there like that, I just wanted to make sure you were all right, and then I--"

She broke off mid-sentence with an annoyed huff. What was that? Adamina was just starting to relax, why did there have to be discomfort now? Couldn't she get one night off? Just one? Just to recover from the ridiculous events of this night?

Taking a deep breath, she looked back at Tim, frowning whilst trying to remember where she had left off, when she felt like her legs had been knocked out from under her, falling backward slightly. "I--ow! Oh--Tim, what--what was that--OUCH! ARGH--TIM!"
