"Come on...come on..."

Peter huffed as he watched the numbers of one elevator go down. He was waiting for it to get to the second floor, so he could stop it there, but for some reason it seemed to be lingering on the fourth. He looked around again, since he was trying to hide himself by pressing his back against a wall, right near the corner that separated the hallway he was in from the hallway the elevators were located. He didn’t look to conspicuous, since he was just sort of standing there incase anyone did happen to walk by him, but he needed to make sure no one saw him cast the spell, because that would cause some problems.

He looked down at the watch on his wrist, brows furrowing as he tapped against it with the pointer finger of his left hand. “…it can not still be up there.” He looked over, seeing the number 4 still lit up. He couldn’t remember what floor Sirius was on, but he knew for a fact that they had decided which elevators they were going to cover before they did this. There was no way that Sirius had already stopped it, because this was his section.

Right?

He strained his brain to try to remember, but just as he did, the number finally changed to 3 on the elevator, causing Peter to let out a sigh of relief. Those blue eyes watched the numbers change, watching as it stalled on 3, and just as he had removed his wand from his pocket, he felt someone tap him on his shoulder. He was very glad that he had suppressed the yelp that had nearly slipped out, but could not help but jump, dropping his wand in the process. He turned around, looking down at who had scared him half to death, and then looked back at the elevators, watching as they opened up.

That number 2 was lit up.

Fidgeting, he bent his knees to try and grab at his wand. “W-what?” He asked, looking up at the girl, quickly shoving his wand into his pocket again. His heart was pounding, and he kept looking over his shoulder at the elevator.

Just his luck.
