ST. MUNGO'S, EARTHQUAKE
He'd had a strange feeling when he'd woken up this morning. Mark's coffee had tasted funny, not for anything Hannah had done to it, it was the same recipe as always, it was just something in his mind that was telling him things were not right. He liked to think that his instinct was what made him a good healer and a proficient healer-in-chief, but today he was just stuck wondering why everything felt so off.

Musing at the nurses' station, Mark leaned into the counter with the tip of his quill poking a blot of ink into his cheek. He was often found here, deep in thought, and it usually took Nurse Tonks saying something ridiculously inappropriate to snap him out of his thoughts.

Today, though, it was the entire nurses station shifting from underneath him and sliding a meter or two away. Mark stumbled, landing on his knees rather hard, and looked up in horror at the sight of the hospital's corridors swaying and shaking. Paintings fell, vials rolled and burst on the ground, and the screams.

He'd known something was off today. "CODE BLACK!"

No he wasn't! Rebecca blanched greatly at Euan, her eyes searching his to see if he was honestly saying that---Oh God, he was serious, but----she quickly supposed that she would have to get pulled out somehow, but that was---it was absolutely terrifying to think that.

Rebecca nodded rapidly, her hands reaching out and grabbing his robes for some sort of comfort. On any other day she'd scoff at the idea of Euan Bloody Pamplemoss giving her comfort, but Rebecca did not hesitate in latching onto him right now. She could do this. She couldn't do this! She had to do this--"Okay, okay," she let out quickly, shutting her eyes.

Merlin, it felt like she was going to rip his shirt off by the way she was clinging to him, but it was making her feel better, and---oh bloody hell, get it over with!

Euan barely noticed that she was more or less tearing his shirt in half. He was far too focused on making sure that she was going to be all right - checking to figure out the angle the coat hook had gone inside so that he could pull her off of it as straight as possible - and that he wasn't going to 'lose his cool'.

People in this situation were prone to hysteria, and that wouldn't help either of them. He nodded, and as soon as Rebecca's eyes slid closed he pulled, refusing to hear the squelch as the hook was removed. After that it was a quick patching spell to stop (hopefully) most of the blood.
