Chester Lawrence Scabior III ([info]chesters) wrote in [info]valesco,
Nick!
Chester really needed to learn to look at the paper more often, because if he had done that he wouldn't have picked the busiest weekend to go to Diagon Alley. It was ridiculous how many people were here. He scowled ducking down a less populated alley way. There now he could breathe and not worry about convincing himself not to hex all the rude people who were walking into him.

He moved swiftly towards his destination when the ground violently jerked underneath his feet causing him to misstep and sending him into the wall with a resounding crack.

Ow. What the fuck was that? The ground just fucking moved and sent him into a fucking wall. He reached up and gently touched the sore spot on his head. Ow. He held his fingers out in front of him to find them a crimson red. Fantastic. He was bleeding. He stared at the blood sliding down his fingers and onto his palm.

Chester was pulled from his trance by someone nearby crying. He look up to find a girl huddled a little ways down the alley. Looking around, Chester verified that she was the only other person around. Well, someone had to help her. He carefully got up from where he was sitting and made his way down to the girl. Maybe today wouldn't be such a waste after all.

"Miss, are you alright?" he said filling his voice with concern as he knelt down in front of her.

"I think I broke my wrist when I fell" she sniffled.

"Here let me take a look." he said taking her wrist into his hand. "Hmm, it might just be sprained" Like he fucking knew. He looked up at her and a lazy smirk fell into place on his face. He tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. Ah, now she looked even more scared. Perfect. "Don't worry, doll, you should be just fine."
