Party Post! - Sunday Night

Oh, Maggie would
never get tired of hearing that. As trying as the past few weeks,
months had been, seeing her stadium (
her stadium) lit up with fireworks and fans and just---it was amazing, it was the best feeling she'd ever had in the whole entire
world. She was a champion! Her team, they were champions! Oh, she loved her team, she really did. As much as they annoyed her all the time, they had definitely suffered through enough embarrassment and humiliation to last a lifetime and it just made them all work so much harder to get to this place.
The celebration party was set for the pitch of Montrose Stadium, a great white, billowing tent was set up almost immediately after the teams had come off the pitch, and after two hours of interviews and awards (Drake won the game M.V.P.! Maggie had jumped onto his back mid-interview), she was now dressed like a a bloody
rockstar. She definitely felt like one, and would continue to feel this way all the way until
next year's championship.
She felt a hand on her elbow and Maggie twisted, her eyes batting with a great smile, "What a match, huh?"
