Heidi hadn't known exactly how formal this was going to be, and whether she was expected to dress in the 'team colours' or anything like that. She'd just so happened to do that, but it hadn't been
intentional. When Henry came rushing at her, she thought for a vague and horrifying moment that he was going to tackle her to the ground.
That might've gone poorly, she thought. She was ...
glad, though, that he seemed to be happy to see her. She was never sure how to take a new relationship, they were hard enough for her before she'd had to deal with her husband being killed and now they were just
awful and daunting. Things with Henry, though ... they didn't have to make it into anything complicated yet.
"Well, I'd feel terrible leaving this ticket to go to waste," she admitted with a small smile.
She did have to work tomorrow, but that was the furthest thing from her mind at the moment. No, right now she was examining the fact that Henry actually looked
relaxed and happy. She nodded firmly, reaching out to give his hand a quick squeeze. That was about as much affection on the returning end as she could manage right now, and it looked kind of silly to kiss a bloke's cheek anyway, didn't it?
"They did win -- at least partially because you are an excellent agent for some of them, I'm sure."
