EVERYONE! PARTY THREAD
Running her fingers through the folds of her dress, Glenda let no pleat or invisible lint go unattended to as she sat. Her dress was far too beautiful for those kinds of blemishes, and the task had proven to be a manageable distraction that was getting her through the rest of the night until it was professionally and socially acceptable to leave.

Oh, that sounded horrible. She really shouldn't be so unwilling to attend her own party. The WWN had really outdone itself, inviting practically the whole of the Wizarding World to help 'welcome her back' to Britain's airwaves. The network had been more than happy to accept her back when she (Sturgis) had contacted them, but had made no mention of something like this until last week after everything had been finalized. All she had asked for was her job back, but apparently her celebrity status had grown substantially with her absence and things like this had become necessary.

She had spent the first good part of the party clutching tightly onto Sturgis' arm, feeling not only uneasy but lost as witch after wizard continued to appear in front of her, asking questions, telling jokes and attempting to have ernest conversations with the woman of the hour. It felt strange having so many familiar faces and names rushed back upon her, and many times already she had wished she was her formal self. If this had been three years ago, Glenda knew she would have chatted up the entire room already instead of giving half-empty smiles, dutiful nods and soft answers.

Now, though, Sturgis had long ago left her side. A tactic she knew no doubt had been purposefully planned down to the minute. It had generated the same feeling within Glenda when he had shown up an hour early before this whole thing started, asking if she minded escorting him, and then offering to drop Tristan off at her Aunt and Uncle's to ensure that she would have enough time to get ready because she hadn't even gotten dressed yet. She knew he was only trying to help with her readjustment process, which made her love, and hate, him more because of it.

Letting out a quiet sigh, Glenda looked up to catch glimpses of the party from outside. Her aimless wandering had lead her to party's outside grounds, a rather nice garden area with sparkling lights and nearby fountain. A few people were nearby, but she didn't mind much. The atmosphere reminded her of Italy.

OOC: soo it's safe to assume Gleny basically knows everyone, WWN would've made sure all friends were here LOL and if she didn't, all famous people were invited anyway so YAY

Felicia!

"Really, I was practically early by my normal standards. You should be impress. I was aiming to impress." Which he was, only five minutes late opposed to his regular fifteen to twenty.

"Besides, I promised debonair, and I've got to keep my promises." he said a cheesy smirk and spinning to show off his suit.

He didn't even last a minute before cracking up. Normally he didn't like parties like these. Too fancy. Too nice. And you had to behave because the place was crawling with reporters.

He looked back over to Felicia standing next to him, this time giving her a real smile. This party would be fun though. "You look fabulous, by the way."

Felicia furrowed her brows at him. "You realize that I still had to wait for a few minutes in this media cluster--flock, right?" She snorted, reaching out and grabbing his hand once he'd finished with his twirl.

"And yes, you look extremely handsome. The women will swoon at your feet." She glanced toward to the bar.

"How soon do you think before we can politely leave?"

"In that case, I'm terribly sorry I made you wait." Kendall said kissing the hand that grabbed his.

He pointedly ignored the comment about swooning women, brought up at least once an outing and he's all but given up on commenting on it.

"I'd say an hour? Two drinks and a dance with me at the very least." he said leading her over to the bar, not letting go of her hand.

She wondered if he was just holding her hand to prevent her from just charging in the other direction. It was certainly a possibility, considering how much she disliked events like this.

"I think I can handle an hour, as long as those two drinks come in quick succession." And they didn't have to do any sort of serious dancing. At least the people here aiming to meddle with them would probably be photographers.

Those she could handle. "You know, I didn't think you actually owned a suit. Don't tell me that you bought one just for this."

Kendall order drinks for them and leaned up against the bar surveying the crowd for a moment before turning his attention back to Felicia. "Okay, I'll admit, muggle pubs and karaoke are way more fun, but someone has to prove that at least one pair of Quidditch players are capable of showing up to a classy event with out causing a scene."

She totally called him on that one. He hadn't owned a suit before, but everyone needed at least one suit right? And this party certainly wasn't the reason he bought it. "Well, its not the only reason, a contributing factor, though." He admitted.

"Bardera seems to be capable of it, but he always seemed like a stick-in-the-mud to me." A cute stick-in-the-mud, of course, but still a bit of a killjoy. Definitely not her type. She smirked.

"Right, right. Well, I had to go out and buy a dress for this fancy-ass event." Which was more of a pain than Kendall probably knew - he had a fantastic body and suits were usually made to fit anyway.

She shrugged, grabbing her drink once it was ready. "So, it's up to us to be the Kestrels ambassadors?"

"Bardera is boring." Kendall commented idle.

"Well, I like it. You look amazing." he said taking a sip of his drink. "We should go to 'fancy-ass' events more often. And yes, most definitely. Because we certainly can't trust Axe nor Charlie with such a job."

"That he is," she said with a shake of her head. She much preferred her teammates no matter what people said about them...drama-mongering.

"Should we? I mean, I guess the booze is nicer." And free, which was always good.
