She'd done it. Bianca wasn't even going to apologize for the thought; she'd done it. These past few weeks leading up to the wedding had been so nerve-wracking, worse than any training she'd gone through, more terrifying than any mission she'd been on, worse than...she really thought that she was not going to make it down the aisle. The guilt and the fear had nearly paralyzed her, but putting on her wedding dress, seeing her closest friends dressed up and looking so very happy for her, a last minute owl from Bertram that made things all seem right.

Well, she practically ran down the aisle after that!

The reception had turned out beautifully, and she really, really had to thank her mother for making her have such an event. All the planning leading up to it had been stressful, but it had made her stronger, and Bianca's life depending on being able to push through anything life threw at her. Her hair was down and out of the twist it had been forced into this morning; if she was going to dance and party, she was surely going to have her hair flying about.

A particuarly happy tune came on and she grabbed Amissa's hand, bouncing happily with the little girl who was now officially her step-daughter. The thought thrilled her, and Bianca caught Bertram's eye with a big grin.

"You are not missing anything," he responded darkly, though immediately after felt a bit of guilt for stating that. His siblings were not that bad, their intentions quite moral (most of the time); it just did not suit his personal character for them to be so attentive. They did not need to talk and do things constantly to still be a close family.

Giving into the guilt this woman had subtly slipped him, Michal gave a glancing look back over his shoulder--- with a refreshing result. Lissie had moved on from the vicinity. Though, if he was going to be honest, it was Ewan that proved to be the real threat. And he had been suspiciously out of sight for the past half and hour. Not a good sign.

Regardless, the lack of his sibling's breath down Michal's neck did give him the opportunity to fully focus on his current gaze. He had been doing a poor job in enwrapping her.

"So," he started, lifting his hand to make a waving motion. "Come on then, I'll be here for a bit. Who are you? What's your story?"

She stared at him for a few moments in thought, putting her hands on the table. Her story? No one had asked for her story in some time.

"My name is Therese, and I've had a rather shitty past few years."

If she were her own healer, she'd urge herself to discuss, out loud, what was ailing her. No matter how many times she panicked to Mackenzie about the state of her situation with Rupert, or the frenzy that Rémy continued to put her in with the publishing of his book, she never truly explained why the events of her life drove her so mad. Confusion was a large part of the problem, her self-esteem took the largest of blows with Rémy's every word, her concern for her professional status gained with each encounter with Rupert, it was all very...it chipped away at her mental state quite surely and strongly. She wasn't sure how she'd managed to not commit herself to the wards of St. Mungo's for evaluation and help. It could be because she believed she knew better, but her own words rang in her head. Her patients always thought they knew better, and here she was, ignoring her own advice.

There was no way she would drop this all on Lynch, however. Therese had some sort of sense, and while it felt like her inner ramblings rang through her head for hours, it was only a split second before she buried away the thoughts and smirked, squinting one eye as she picked up her drink and held it out for a toast.

"But that's not for tonight, is it?"

She said bitterly. And candidly. Michal was actually rather surprised at Therese's openness to a stranger, though if he had to admit, he did enjoy it. How could you not enjoy bluntness? It worked for him very well through the years of his life. Much less of a hassle and really just better for all in the long run.

So, while her statement did encourage a silent raised brow, that did not stop Michal from meeting his glass to meet with a wordless clink. Perhaps that was too perceptive in the sense that he obviously could not complain about his past few years like she could, be he could understand what it was like to suffer through them. For the most part.

"I guess," he shrugged, after a drink. A thought came to him, and Michal quickly began to rattle off his words. "So what is for tonight?" he mused, fully intent on this new game. It seemed fun. And, if the worst should happen and he is spotted, it will look like a very important conversation.

"Drinking," he began, tipping his glass slightly as he spoke. "Dancing, eating... avoiding your family," Michal stopped for a moment, picking up again as new ideas came to mind. "Being secretly miserable? Permanently borrowing pocketable items... well?" He stopped patiently, waiting to see how Therese took to this. He may be persuaded to partake in the actions he was not already doing.
