POSTED FOR SATURDAY~ Sinners & Saints Ghost Train!

As the country side rushed by outside the window, Dianna could feel her pride grow with each passing second. She wasn't one to admit that she bragged about her achievements, but it would be a lie to think that she was not going to be boasting at how overwhelmingly amazing this event had turned out to be. The turn out had been far more than anticipated, the musicians that varied through every other cart were fantastic and livening up the mood---there were even ghosts of old conductors and passengers floating through the carts and having the time of their after-lives scaring the guests.

It was to be a fun, fantastic, frightful night. Dianna was beside herself with excitement, and she tugged her skirt down a bit and went on a search for a friendly face to interact with. Merlin, she'd really out done herself this time, she thought amusing as a cart-wide sized cobweb magically unspun to let her pass.

Dianna flipped a golden curl over her shoulder, smirking greatly. She was so brilliant.

Originally, Seth wasn't even going to go to the Train party at all. He was going to take Leanne out trick or treating and just spend the night at home eating candy. But then he got the last minute request from Arista to accompany her, and who was he to turn her down.

Although it was most likely some sort of elaborate prank. He wouldn't put it past Michal to pull some sort of stunt. It was the biggest reason he put pretty much zero effort into his costume. That way, it it was Michal being a prat, it wasn't to much effort wasted, and if it was actually Arista, the costume was at the very least amusing.

He stood on the platform waiting for Arista to show up before boarding. Seth tried his best to hide the surprise he felt when Arista not only showed up, but walked over to him once she recognized him. "Nice costume." he greeted her with a smile. "You look lovely as always."

Arista had learned her lesson about trying to play Miles's own game with him, but she unfortunately still required a date. When her mother, who learned from her agent, who learned from being a nosy Nancy, that Arista was planning on attending the train party alone, positively insisted that she be accompanied by some nice young wizard who worked with her in broom development. That was the last thing she needed, to be seen dating a nerd.

So she had coolly informed her mother that she did in fact have an escort, but it was a lie. All of her team-mates were either useless French men or had dates of their own. It might have made sense to ask Vinny Gudgeon, being that they had just been on an enjoyable date, but she was frankly much too embarrassed to, as the date seemed more of a fluke than a pattern to expect to be repeated, and he really had no need of knowing her familial drama, which left…

Well, Seth Wadcock. Not only did he probably owe her numerous favours at this point, but he had the added benefit of annoying the entirety of her estate, and he had seen her make an idiot of herself enough times that it almost didn't faze her anymore. Almost. And the idea of spending an evening with him at a costume party wasn't a horrible prospect, especially since he gave at least the appearance of behaving these days.

She inclined her head to him as she approached, tugging a bit at her collar. It was a bit itchy, and she had yet to put on her jester's cap, but she liked her costume immensely, so she was pleased the Pride had decided to coordinate, even if none of them could be arsed into escorting her. "Thank you." She tilted her head and studied him. "What are you supposed to be? And don't say a sinner, because we're all very familiar with that part already."

"Obviously, I am not dressed as a sinner. It's not a costume if its the truth." Seth said with a smirk, before glancing over to Arista. "A joke."

"I've dressed as Michal Conway Lynch of course." He folded his arms across his chest and put on his best apathetic look he could manage without laughing. He didn't last long before his lips twitched back into a grin. "Last minute costume. Just have to stand around with a grumpy and or judgmental look on my face and I'm golden." Seth said shrugging his shoulders. "That and, his locker is incredibly easy to break into. Shame his shirt will be all stretched out by the time I get it back to him."

He offered his arm to her. "Anyways, it would be a shame for us to miss the train. Shall we?"

Well… she couldn't say it was anything particularly elaborate or exciting as far as costumes went, not when she was dressed the way she was, but Arista supposed it had its roots in a clever idea. Also, if they weren't friends, probably edged a bit into stalking territory. At least it wasn't a witch!

She touched her fingertips lightly to his arm. "You know, I rather expected you to be more festive about All Hallows' Eve. I can't imagine why that was." Shrugging one shoulder, Arista took a calming, inconspicuously deep breath and hoped the night wasn't about to blow up in her face in the multitude of ways it very well could. "But yes, I suppose we shall."

Seth certainly felt that his costume was festive, but then again, he could see how it would seem not as fun if you didn't actually know Michal. He shrugged his shoulders lightly. "Well, between you and I, I have another costume at home, but well, dressing in a costume because your four year old begs you to is one thing. Volunteering to wear it out to a party without said four year old is something complete different. I had to work with what I had."

Once boarded on the train, Seth refrained from heading straight to the bar and instead lead them off to the side. "So what would you like to do first, Princess? Drinks, food, games?"
