POSTED FOR SATURDAY~ Sinners & Saints Ghost Train!

As the country side rushed by outside the window, Dianna could feel her pride grow with each passing second. She wasn't one to admit that she bragged about her achievements, but it would be a lie to think that she was not going to be boasting at how overwhelmingly amazing this event had turned out to be. The turn out had been far more than anticipated, the musicians that varied through every other cart were fantastic and livening up the mood---there were even ghosts of old conductors and passengers floating through the carts and having the time of their after-lives scaring the guests.

It was to be a fun, fantastic, frightful night. Dianna was beside herself with excitement, and she tugged her skirt down a bit and went on a search for a friendly face to interact with. Merlin, she'd really out done herself this time, she thought amusing as a cart-wide sized cobweb magically unspun to let her pass.

Dianna flipped a golden curl over her shoulder, smirking greatly. She was so brilliant.

She was still holding her breath and it took another squeeze of her hands to snap Graciela out of it. She blinked a few times and then smiled widely. "I--I do?"

Relief swept over her. Edward did not seem to be feigning excitement, she could see in the crinkle of his eyes that his smile was real and that he seemed impressed. Impressed! They would be together for a thousand years and her heart would still flutter at the idea of Edward being excited because of her. Graciela felt herself heat up as he looked her over, and her confidence level grew. She reminded herself of how good she'd felt in the mirror after her makeup and costume were complete, and she grinned a bit mischievously.

"I am a calaca," she begin to explain, playing with their intertwined fingers. For some reason, it pleased her that Edward did not know what she was supposed to be. It meant that she could be a bit mysterious and weave the tale of her costume throughout the night. They did not surprise each other very often, and Graciela felt her heart begin to race, "I represent the souls that are happy in their afterlife, that comes to celebrate during the days of the dead."

Graciela tried to smile as wickedly as she could. She let go of his hand for a moment to tug on his sweater vest. "You are the cutest golfer I have ever seen."

He laughed, as she seemed genuinely relieved by his approval of her costume. Graciela most certainly did not need his approval to do anything she wished, but if she so desired, Edward would be eternally happy to be behind the reason of her bright eyes and happy smile. She was so astounding, he couldn't even begin to express it to her without using words that were too serious for this setting.

"Yes!" he rushed, now moving closer to her. As he moved, he hitched his bag slightly, resting it further on his back.

Edward regarded Graciela politely as she explained her outfit, finding himself very involved and interested. He would be the first to admit that he knew little about Graciela's Portuguese culture and heritage, so anything, even small things like this or big things like visiting her family, he enjoyed. And not just because it was a learning experience, but because it made him feel closer to her, like with every new piece he was understanding more and more about her. And even though they had been dating for a while now, Edward enjoyed that their relationship still had that.

"I like it," he nodded once she finished, releasing his hand from hers to reach up and touch one of the flowers on her shoulder.

"Really?" Edward's face significantly brightened at her mention of his costume. She knew. "You must not have met many golfers in your day," he joked, a smile still firmly present on his lips.
