"That's all I need." Kendall grinned brightly when Scarlett agreed. When she first looked him up and down, he swore she was going to turn him down. That would have been quite a blow, not even having the chance to say his piece.
He took his drink and turned to face the keeper straight on as he thought over how he should continue. Only having a a small window of her attention, he had to get it right on the first shot. "I know this really isn't the place, but seeing you here I couldn't pass up the opportunity to speak to you when I had the chance. I always have preferred speaking in person to owl post."
Kendall took a sip of his drink to stem his rambling. "I would like to take you out to dinner some time, see what my chances are of convincing you keeping for the Wanderer's will be better than the Wasps."
