ADIAN
Louis slipped quickly through the office doors, ducking his head low enough to keep himself hidden from any supervisors that might be lurking about. He was supposed to be heading toward the cafeteria for lunch, but how decent was lunch when you sat by yourself eating the goop that was served daily? He made his way through the maze of cubicles, hoping he didn't look too much like a hunchback as he passed the openings and small glass windows.

He had really been expecting more from this job, though he'd known his expectations were wild and probably ridiculous. After spending two years exploring the world, being contained to a few floors of the Ministry felt like prison, even if he was learning about the proper rules and regulations that came along with dealing with other countries. Louis had always been one to get off on his brains and charm, but here there was structure. It'd only been a week and he was already beginning to feel as if they'd locked shackles around his ankles.

Finally, he reached his destination and jumped into Adian Rosenberg's cubicle, "Lunch? Can you go to lunch now?"

Louis looked over the parchment sprawled across his friend's desk and muttered, "Yes, lunch should happen now."

Adian's eyes went wide as his jaw unhinged to drop slightly at Louis' stumble. His friend had only shown unaffiliated disinterest concerning Dianna in the past recent weeks, so it was... well, Louis had practically flown into the poor bloke in front of him upon the mere mention of this weekend. That wasn't usual. Adian had let go of his handle to help Louis stand back up proper, but by the time he reached him, he had already returned to his usually balanced self.

What was with former Slytherins and their inherent ability for balance? At first Adian had just thought that his sister's husband's ability to practically glide smoothly was an Auror thing, but now he had begun to notice any and all Slytherins appeared to, in one way or another, carry themselves in ways that did not lead to tripping, falling, stumbling, or even remotely tipping in an ungraceful or unusual way. Weird.

Not needing to be indicated twice, Adian trotted out of the lift first to lead the way. "It might," he nodded along, truly thinking it capable. But most likely not, when it came to Dianna Dobbs. He thought, for a moment, as they walked, and waited until they were before a fireplace before speaking again. The delay was also due to him being unable to decide where to floo for lunch. Adian put his balled hand up to his head to rest against it as he thought.

"But I don't think Hufflepuffs get easily deterred by rain," he stated idly, watching Louis carefully out of the corner of his eye.
