She nodded silently to herself several times as he spoke. At this point, she would have agreed to just about anything to keep Evan, even if it was something as impossible seeming as getting rid of alcoholism. She didn't know how she was going to do it yet, but she would--she would, because he was there and giving her a choice and she wasn't going to lose him to it. No matter what happened, she wasn't willing to lose Evan to something like this, and if that meant busting her arse to try and quit drinking, well then... that's what she'd have to do.
And he wanted to help her, right? Just knowing that she didn't have to hide it anymore, that she could open herself up to him and ask for help was a relief in and of itself.
"I will," she answered, almost as soon as he had finished. Cecilia raised her head and met his eyes--she wanted him to know she was telling the truth, because she swore to God she was, even if she didn't know what she was going to do yet. "I'll try and--I can't promise I can do it, you know that, but I'll try. And I'll let you help me. I want you to help me, because I don't think I can get over this alone."
