Order!
"Say cheese!"

Alice set the camera on its timer and rushed forward to slide under Frank's arm. The room filled with a chorus of 'CHEESE' and a loud grumbling of 'No' as the flash nearly blinded everyone in the room.

"Goodness, Alice," Emmeline Vance mumbled, pressing her hands into her eyes. Alice blinked a few times to try and rid her vision of the rainbow-colored spots and hurried (well, stumbled, wow--that flash was very bright) back to the camera to catch the picture as it fell out of the front. Swiftly, she held it up to watch it come into focus and instantly her vision was cleared. Oh, see. They were such a lovely bunch, even if a few of them hated each other.

You were allowed to hate someone and still look lovely together, Alice believed.

"Okay! Well!" She waved her free hand around, anyone who wanted to look at the picture (though she could probably make copies! Ooh--) could come up and snatch it away from her...not without a fight, of course, "Food is---"

Alice watched as the group immediately dispersed toward the food and drinks and other activities she and Frank and Marlie had managed to set up in the Longbottom's rather expanse backyard. Yes, the Order, while amazing crime fighters, also had the keenest sense of of smell and taste--or was it just they were really hungry?

Frank was paying attention to what Emmeline was saying, he really was. Granted, he was listening to her more than actually willing to look at her, but. It was just too hard, within perfect view of Caradoc's reaction just over Emmeline's shoulder. It was too hard not to watch.

So, Frank gave an interested hum of a response once he noticed her pause, and held a devious smirk as he watched Caradoc's face screw up for a few seconds. They made eye contact, and then--- well where was the fun in annoying him if he wasn't even going to react at all? Frank suppressed a sigh as he watched Caradoc easily turn his heel on them, and walk away.

"What did he do to get the grand piano there?" Frank inquired, catching the end of Emmeline's story. See? Look at how good of an auror he was already. Focusing on two things--- already a mastered skill. His face twitched into a smile, and Frank took a deep breath. This was good; Emmeline actually looked happy.

"Apparently," she continued, not noticing for a second that Frank's attention wasn't fully on her. All right--so sue her if she liked having someone listen to her stories, or even care. Especially Frank, because really, people had their parents or siblings to look up and try to impress and so--she had Frank. And that was that, and she was not going to apologize about talking his ear off whenever she had the opportunity--

"It was for a muggle magic show." Emmeline had to stifle her own laughter before she continued, putting a finger up to show that indeed, there was more to this, "He wanted his assistant to drop the piano on his head, like--scare the audience out of their minds as the rope dropped closer and closer so he like---"

Her hands flailed around her sides, front and back, "He put the permeable spell on the piano and began walking around through it right, but, honestly." Emmeline shook her head as if this was the dumbest thing she'd ever heard, which unfortunately it wasn't, "Anyone who knows anything knows that those kind of spells are only temporary, and they didn't know if making the piano permeable again if that would make him all--"

She pushed her hand through the air and poked Frank in the stomach.

"Squishy."
