Who: Ludo and Kalista
When: Thursday evening
Where: Kal's place, then Solo Mio

Ludo was only slightly nervous about this. They'd never been terribly public with each other but the fact that she was agreeing to dinner with him was promising, right? He had the box in his pocket and he was terrified of her response to it--would she hate it? Think it was too much and then hate him for it? On the other hand if she loved it then...well, that would be good, right? And she couldn't hate it, right?

Right. With a resonant pop he arrived at her doorstep. If the outside was any indicator of the inside, she had a very nice place. He let out a slow breath, trying to calm himself long enough to knock on the door. He adjusted the sleeves and collar of his robes before knocking three times on the door. Now just to wait.

He liked the sound of that...we. "Oh, don't worry. I don't plan on splinching either of us tonight," he said with a grin, taking advantage of the situation to pull her closer to him--gently, of course. Truth be told, he was focusing hard on not hurting either of them as they popped away from her house and arrived on the other end unscathed.

"See? Piece of cauldron cake," he told her with a wink. Phew, thank Merlin that ended out well. There was a couple in front of them, but they moved quickly along and after a short conversation with the host, they were being led to a more secluded table--the type you paid extra money to get so the noise (and prying eyes) was more bearable.

He'd never been to the restaurant, it was never something the Bagman family could afford as a hole, and looking at the french on the menu had him a bit nervous. He had no idea what to order, but...when in doubt go with the special, right? He smiled at Kalista across the table. "Do you eat here often?" he asked casually, trying to make conversation until the waitress arrived.
