Friends and Family!!!!
She was Mrs. Graeme Dorny.

Giada Lucia Dorny.

Sounded kind of funky, but she dug it.

Everything had been perfect, except for the scare of rain this morning. Giada had cried and cried as it poured and poured, but when it came down to leaving Rachel's flat (for that is where the pre-wedding chaos had occurred) to the ceremony, the skies were clear, and magic had been used to dry up the ground and everything around it. Definitely no reason for tears, anymore. Except she cried and cried during their vows, because it was just so beautiful and they reminded her how much she did love this man and it was so amazing. She'd never felt like this before, like she could do anything and be anything and that everything she wanted was within her grasp.

Sigh. Sigh. She loved being married. She loved being a wife. She loved being Graeme's wife.

She turned to her husband and smiled widely only a second before she put her hands to his head to pull him in for a tight kiss. Nearly a snog, had the guests not started rattling their champagne glasses. She smiled at them meekly and turned back to Graeme, her cheeks reddening but her smile widening even further than before.

GIADA
It was safe to say that Allison Davies was freaking out.  And this was not her usual daily freak out that she didn't have the right ingredients  to make dinner or that Roger fell down and bumped his head.  No this was a major freak out.  Major as in Sam was going to be super upset.   And not super upset but it was ok because he'd forget about it in the morning but super super won't forget about it upset.

She was at the Apothecary for all of two minutes before Giada flew in, grabbed her by the wrist and started running towards where they kept the  pregnancy tests. "Giaaa, maybe this isn't a good idea.  I mean, I could be just over reacting.  I dunno."  Ally stared at the tests.  Either way this wasn't going to turn out well.  Well one result would be less problematic but still.  She wanted another baby.

"I just don't know.  It could be the flu."

Open to 77ers!
Okay, so this reunion?

FANTASTIC IDEA.

Giada couldn't even---there was just so---IT WAS ALL JUST SO EXCITING. She'd seen these people and talked to them and what have you, but to have everyone grouped together, it was--brilliant! The stories that came up and the laughter and it was just right, and she felt like this was absolutely what everyone needed. It seemed like everyone in their year had been touched by the war, and--it was definitely noticeable with some people, but wasn't it better to try and move on with people who actually cared about you, then to sit and let time try to fix everything? Sometimes you needed a smile or a hug, it was just human nature.

Or it was just Giada Vance's nature, but! It was a good medicine, she liked to think.

The hall was gorgeous, and she found herself adjusting the plates and utensils and cups on the buffet table to make them alternate in position and just---looking perfect, because everything was perfect! Almost! It was as perfect as it could possibly be, and that was AWESOME.

She whirled around at a hand on her elbow, and Giada's face lit up brightly, "OH MY GOSH HI!" she let out, literally throwing her arms around them.

Giada
Closing his journal after writing his last reply to Giada, Graeme let out a heavy sigh, leaning forwards to place his head in his hands. He had been at his parents’ house when his journal flashed, visiting them since it had been quite some time since he had seen them. He would have invited Giada, but ever since that damn billboard went up, she had been getting a lot more publicity. That involved more work, and less time for them to see each other. He was happy, ecstatic for her even, but he couldn’t deny the fact that this whole thing had gotten to her head a little bit. It didn’t help that it made him a little jealous, too. She had been stopping on the streets to sign things when they recognized her, like the new local celebrity that she was, and he had just been tagging along. He probably wouldn’t have cared so much if the ministry hadn’t been beating down his ego little by little with each new ‘law’ they passed. It made him feel small and insignificant, especially since he was dating and living with a pureblood, but to be a poor muggleborn who was dating and living with a rather wealthy pureblood semi-celebrity was something that made him want to just crawl under a rock. He never let Giada know that, though. He didn’t want her knowing that he felt lower than her, because that might make her feel uncomfortable. She didn’t understand what it was like, to have all of her rights ripped out from underneath her, but he didn’t blame her for that. It wasn’t her fault. It was just…frustrating, when she tried to, because he couldn’t explain how it felt; how hard it was to deal with. And now she was crying, and he was just…overwhelmed.

Sitting upright, he kissed his parents goodbye, noting how upset they looked because of the situation he was in, and then grabbed his wand, apparating back to the apartment building that he shared with Giada. He climbed the steps, got to their apartment, and used the key…a very muggle thing to do, that was just second nature to him. It made him inwardly scowl. Part of him wanted to use as much magic as he possibly could, just to prove that he was a wizard, and not just a muggle who had been invited into the wizarding world by pureblood elitists. He let the negative thoughts slip from his mind as he turned the doorknob, stepping inside. Closing the door behind him, he locked it and then placed the key down on the counter nearby, along with his coat.

After that was done, he ventured towards the bedroom, where he knew Giada was sitting since he could hear her quiet sniffles. He stopped for a moment in the doorway before moved closer to her, slipping his hands into his pockets before taking a seat beside her- or, in front of her, since she was sitting cross legged near the pillows. A hand reached up to be placed on her knee while the other one was used to close her journal, which was still open in her lap for some reason, now a little bit damp due to tears. Moving it away and placing it on the nightstand, he scooted closer to her, tucking her hair behind her ear with one hand as he used the thumb of the other to wipe beneath her eyes, trying to get rid of some of the tears. “Please stop crying…”

Rachel!
She felt like she hadn't done anything outside of work and sleep for the past month. Giada couldn't believe---a month and a day, Alexandria had been dead a month and a day. Her friend had been gone for one month and one full day and she still couldn't find the strength to start...start moving on as people liked to say. How--how was she supposed to do that? It wouldn't make things better, it wouldn't bring one of her best friends back, so--so--what was the point?

If there was one, Giada couldn't see it. She felt terribly guilty for having to put Graeme through all of this, just as they'd moved in together, but all her attempts at being happy were short-lived and...ugh. She wouldn't be surprised if he broke up with her, with how she was so closely resembling a dementor, the way she sucked the fun out of everything she did.

The knock on their flat's door surprised her, and Giada slipped off the couch, keeping her warm blanket over her shoulders. Graeme was out somewhere (ugh, horrible girlfriend, he'd told her too but she hadn't exactly been listening---) and she wasn't expecting anyone, but it was probably Sam or Ally, checking in and making sure she wasn't drowning away her sorrows. They'd be sorely disappointed.

"Rachel!" she squeaked after peeking through the peep hole. Giada opened the door and smiled as warmly as she could (which wasn't much) at her friend. "Hi, hi--come in." Oh, she probably looked a wreck.

Gia
Ally felt as though she was spending way to much time on her couch waiting for people to show up recently. Originally thought that maybe they could go out and talk while getting something to eat or coffee or something. But she figured that might be a bad idea being as that this whole converstation thing might escalate to yelling or tears or something that would not be suited for eating out.

So instead she cooked herself. For about four hours before Giada was even suppose to show up. There was a cake and muffins and cookies and meatloaf in the oven that would be done soon and yea she probably cooked way too much but she was stressed and once she started baking she really didn't want to stop. See glanced at her watch and picked at her nails while she waited. She really just wanted this to be all over with.

Avery
Giada was quite sure she was going to get in trouble because of this.

She'd picked the place, the time, every aspect of this little meeting so that hopefully Avery would be satisfied for a little bit and leave her alone. Or maybe she could finally put it through his thick skull that she didn't want to be with him. It didn't matter to her that her mother thought he was a perfect match, it didn't. Her mother didn't know her, how could she know who was perfect for her? Emmet was bloody perfect for her, but he had to go and have a kid; Graeme---Graeme was getting there, they were still so new, so she couldn't---and neither of them were anything like the slime Avery was.

But it didn't help the slight homesickness she was suffering. Giada wanted to kick herself for such thoughts, but at the end of the day, she did miss her parents. They were wonderful when they weren't forcing high society down her throat. Ha.

Her hand covered her eyes as she waited for him to show up at the cafe. She would've gone to Charlotte's, but Giada didn't need any wizards or witches spotting them, and that somehow getting back to her parents. Once again she was hiding from people, lying, (bloody hell, Savannah was going to kill her). The doorbell of the cafe rang and Giada didn't bother to look up to see if it was him, if it wasn't, all the better for her.
