Arthur. Bill and I need you to bring back marshmallows. He's been craving s'mores for a week and I suppose it's rubbed off on me because now I can even smell them.

And now Charlie wants them, and of course that leads to Percy crying for them, and now the twins are whinging just to whinge.

Hurry! The fate of this household depends on the warm gooeyness of s'mores!

Super Dad to the rescue, then?

Oh, Molly! Speaking of! McCormack gave me this smashing set of muggle magazine books that they call comicks. I will have to show you them. Apparently they have these things called super heroes. And they have powers but, well. Not magic, of course, but they can fly! Without a broomstick, even! And as fast as a 'speeding bullet,' whatever that is. I'll have to do a bit more research. I think the boys will rather like these comicks, we'll just have to see.

I don't like this speeding bullet, business. Those are the things the muggles shoot from those horrid devices called guns! Gleny was telling me all about them!

OH! That makes sense, then! I don't think he uses guns. He's got super strength so he doesn't really need one, I imagine. They just say he's as fast as a speeding bullet, which must mean he's really really fast. I'll have to talk to Gleny about this sometime

Why on earth does he need to fly really fast? If he doesn't need a broomstick, then it's not for a sport or anything?

To catch the bad guys! He can't apparate or anything, so he has to be able to get from here to there! So he flies!

Oh well that's just silly that sounds like fun! You should definitely show the boys the comicks.

Well, who doesn't love s'mores?

It's one thing to love them, it's a completely different matter to crave them as if your life depended on it, haha!

Hey, sometimes a man needs his s'mores. Or, you know, sometimes a woman needs her s'mores, but the fact of the matter is, s'mores are very, very, very important.

I love how well you understand the simple things in life.

[Fabian] I've been meaning to ask, how's the girlfr-- Bess and everything? I wanted to send over food but I don't know if that'd be too much but I'll probably still-- [/Fabian]

She's...I don't know. She's happy to have Sadie back, but she's still shaken up about the whole thing, obviously. I don't really know what to say to her, or how to ask her how she's feeling. I feel like I shouldn't bring it up, like I should just...forget about the whole thing.

...what do I do, Molly?

I think you just need to be there for her, and be ready to listen when she wants to talk about it. Because all women want to talk about it, they just have to build up the nerve to or--basically they can't hold it in any longer. I mean--if you see that it's hurting her not to have things settled then I think you should initiate talk or...well, I don't know how safe Bess is feeling, so I'd probably make sure that's settled first.

Sigh, Fabian. You and your brother are going to be the death of me, I swear it.

I've been checking up on her every second of the day, and every noise I hear coming from Sadie's room I investigate, and I just...

I don't know, I feel responsible or something. I know it's not my fault, I'm not saying it was, I just...I don't know. I feel like I should have been there, I feel like if I had been I could have stopped it, and Bess wouldn't have to go through all of this, and I wouldn't be asking you all of these questions.

And I can not be the death of you, because you are my favorite sister in the entire world and I need you right now, so don't let me kill you, just sit there and give sisterly advice, because I haven't slept since Sadie's been taken, and even though she's back I still haven't slept because I feel like she can just be taken again, and I can't be the death of you.

:(

Sad face, you can't let me kill you.

I know you said you know, but I will reiterate the fact just to make sure, because that is what big sisters do: It was NOT your fault!

That being said, I'm proud of you. I really am! Fabian, you're putting this child's life first and I know you and Bess aren't that serious are you that serious, you would tell me right-- but it's so very brave and mature of you to want to protect her like you do.

But as much as I hate to admit it, it's a horrible reality for parents to realize but they just can't protect their children all the time---ask Arthur or myself, and I know Gideon's starting to feel it too. You want to do everything, but you can't. What you can do though, is help get back onto the right track and make things happy and livable again for you and Bess and the baby- Sadie. Take them to the park. Go get ice cream. Buy toys. Just try and be happy again.

And it's okay to get up in the middle of the night and walk around the house, I've done it, I know Arthur has--just start to trust yourself.

I know...

I don't know how serious we are. I care about her a lot. I don't want to see her, or her daughter, get hurt.

I'll try. I have to do something.

Thank you, Mol.
