Remus didn't know what to do. It had been almost a week since Sirius had come to visit, and Remus just couldn't stop thinking about it. He liked Sirius, he was fairly certain. And if he went by his recent dreams, he really liked Sirius. He couldn't stop thinking about the way their mouths fit together or the feeling that would go down his spine whenever Sirius made a noise. It was rather obnoxious, really. And what was even more obnoxious was how much Remus just wanted to see Sirius again.

Oh Merlin. He really was hopeless, wasn't he?

Sirius was staring at the ceiling, listening to Prongs's snores all over again. Contrary to what normally happened, Sirius was having incredible amounts of trouble sleeping. Normally, Sirius would have fallen asleep rather easily, his snores rivaling James's.

But tonight, Sirius couldn't even pay attention to those loud snores, nor could he muster up his own. All he could think about was that night, almost one week ago, that he had gone to visit Remus. He had really wished that night lasted longer, if it hadn't been for his disgruntled parents.

This time, though, it was going to be different. Mr. and Mrs. Lupin wouldn't be angry with Sirius, not that they were last time. But he was determined not to disturb them. Instead of bringing his motorcycle, he brought his broomstick so that he could fly right up to Remus's bedroom. He knocked softly on the window, hoping to see his best friend awake.

	Remus sat straight up in his bed, thinking he was imagining the noise. But no, no there it was again. He could hear it very clearly. A tapping on his window. He climbed over his bed to the window and moved the curtain to the side, nearly screaming when he saw Sirius' face. He opened the window. "Sirius!" he hissed, "What in bloody Hell are you doing?" 	Sirius smiled a little. "You have bedhead," he commented vaguely. "I kind of wondered if you had bedhead, and I just sort of wanted to check. You see, they say that the men with the best bedhead also have the most ambitious dreams? I just figured I should check." Sirius grinned sheepishly and shrugged. "Let me in?" he asked. 	Remus was entirely confused. He furrowed his brow and tilted his head a little. "You know," he said, "I have no idea what you're talking about." Yet, he still attempted to smooth his hair while Sirius clambered into his room and onto his bed. Oh Merlin, they were both on his bed. Remus shifted uncomfortably. "Hello." 	Remus was too tired to deal with this. He climbed over in a rather bold moment, and situated himself in Sirius' lap, his face against Sirius' neck. He kissed just below Sirius' ear, his jaw, and then the base slowly. "Well, I appreciate it," he mumbled into Sirius' neck. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Sirius felt the shivers going down his spine, and he closed his eyes for a split second before they snapped back open in the sudden adrenaline rush he felt. He didn't know why, but he was nervous. "You know, you really shouldn't stare like that," he started.

"Because I once read this book where a man stared at his knees for too long and then developed this rare disease where he couldn't stare at anything for too long without blinking too much. And then one day his dog came up and tried to lick him on the face and missed and hit his eye and then his brain exploded. And Remus, I really don't want your brain to explode."

Remus didn't feel nervous at all. On the contrary, he felt very nice and quite...comfortable, oddly enough. He decided not to think about it.

Remus laughed softly into Sirius' ear. "You know, I honestly have no idea what you're talking about," he told him, resting his head on Sirius' shoulder. "And I don't think my brain would explode, either. I think it would implode."

	Hesitantly, he wrapped his arms around Remus, not letting him move away from his lap. Sirius rested his head against Remus's head, frowning a little. "Why would it implode?" he asked. 	"Because I'm not really certain a head can explode without some sort of explosive. I think generally heads tend to implode when not acted upon by another force." 	Remus smiled and rested his head in the crook of Sirius' neck. He couldn't imagine what they looked like, sitting on Remus' bed all tangled together. He imagined it was quite funny, really. He shifted closer to Sirius, a hand running down his side. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He smiled a little at him before continuing, "What's going to happen after this? What are we going to tell people?" Sirius didn't want to rush things, certainly not, but he was really anxious to make Remus his and no one else's. He didn't want to have to be embarrassed for having a relationship. "Well tell people we're snogging each other's brains out." Remus didn't mind the rush. He'd always felt a strange bond with Sirius, and sometimes he couldn't always just say it was friendship. He was glad he finally figured it out. To him, they were making up for lost time, and there was no way he could possibly be embarrassed by Sirius. Well, there was but that was beside the point. "I don't know, Sirius. Do we really have to tell them anything? We could just hold hands and snog and let people make their own assumptions, you know."

	Remus' arms went around Sirius' waist, squeezing him back. This was all still very new and exciting to him. The kiss sent a shiver down his spine. "I thought you would," he murmured before catching Sirius' mouth in a slow, drawing kiss. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

He responded with a soft groan as he pulled Remus close as he could, kissing him back, lingering on all the little details. Those were the best types of kisses, in Sirius's opinion, as he slowly (almost tediously, he thought to himself) brushed his lips against Remus's.

There was something incredibly alluring about kissing Remus that couldn't be said for anyone else Sirius had ever kissed. It was like a new experience ever time; he could never get sick of it, ever.

Remus made a soft noise in response and his hand curled in the front of Sirius' shirt. This was, this was indescribable to Remus. Really the only person Remus had actually kissed, much to Prongs' dismay, was Lily Evans in third year. And while that was nice, it just wasn't quite the same as kissing Sirius.

Kissing Sirius was much better, Remus decided as he turned his head to catch the other's lips from a different angle.

	His palm found the small of Remus's back, and he pushed Remus closer to him. Anything to make it even more real. He languidly ran his tongue over the crease on the other boy's lips.
