That snack can't be good for you, vampire sir
There was a deafening banging against the rather flimsy door as Ben pushed a wardrobe against it. "Storm? You've got FF experience with the weird stuff, tell that thing that we have terrible blood. I'm sure radiation-related hereditary mutations and blood that catches fire when exposed to air count as US BEING VAMPIRE HEALTH HAZARDS!" He shouted the last part at the door to the bloodthirsty Dracula thing on the other side. How they ended up in a rather abandoned small town, stuck in an old house with a vampire thirsting for them was one of those 'it's a long story, we're not sure, you don't want to know' things.

But vampires, vampires were a first. He never signed up for vampires.

	"Yeah I've got enough crazy science and space stuff. Don't need supernatural and magical weirdness," Ben says helping hold the door closed though not sure how much he was actually helping compared to Parker's spider strength. He could hear his heart pounding more than usual as he shared a glance with Ben. It was quiet...too quiet.

Ben quietly hops up on top of the wardrobe and reaches up so that his fingertips touch the ceiling. Using just that contact he slowly pulls himself up so that he was upside down and sticking to the ceiling, free to crawl along it. He slowly moved along the ceiling, trying to feel if there were any footsteps above them, perhaps the vampire had moved.

"Nothing," he whispered down to Storm. "But I don't want to leave yet and it's not safe to stay here either." They'd blocked the door and the one window in the room, effectively barricading themselves in. Which might've been good if this were not a really old house and he wasn't exactly sure these walls were stable. The ceiling alone creaked under his weight, and he wasn't heavy at all.

"Where do you think it went?" No way that thing had left right? It could probably hear them for all he knew.

	Ben started to walk around the room listening for any sound that could give him a clue to where that thing had gone. He didn't really anything not that that surprised him. Ben took a deep breath and looked at the door. What if it was on the other side waiting for them? Only one way to find out.

"Yeah...yeah we need to go. Lets be quick about getting that stuff away from the door and-ohshitspideysen-AAAAAAAH!" Just at that moment there was a loud crashing sound as the vampire in question burst down through the flimsy ceiling, right beside Ben, who it only narrowly missed thanks to him scurrying away a moment before.

It moved too fast to get a good look at it, but the thing smelt blood and went for the next person it saw, the Ben that wasn't on the ceiling.

	"Oh crap," Ben yells as he jumps back from the sudden explosion from the ceiling. When he saw the vampire land on the floor Ben swore loudly and tried to get something in between it and him. Not that their was much left after the had finished their barricading. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"Doordoordoor!" Ben calls out to Storm. Whether it means head to the door, or lead the vamp to the door, or any variation of those, it's not clear. It's not exactly the situation for long explanations anyway.

Ben leaps off the ceiling and onto the vampire's back as it lunges at the other Ben, and tries to pull it back. The thing is strong though and the vampire strains forward, step by step moving slowly towards Storm while trying to get Ben off.

	Ben nodded as he ran towards the door and began shoving the barricade of stuff they had set up away from the door. Thank god for adrenalin rushes making that a little easier. After quickly clearing enough stuff away he throws open the door. "Got it let go," He shouts to Parker before going through the door himself while waiting for his friend to get there. The vampire was clawing at him as he climbed onto its shoulders finally and shot webbing at the thing's eyes. Who knew how helpful that would be but maybe it'd give them a moment. Straight from the vampire's shoulders, Ben uses them as a platform to leap off and into the doorway, grabbing the frame to swing through and somersault onto his feet, shouting as he did so.

"RUNRUNRUNRUN!" He had zero idea of the layout of this house so direction wasn't an issue. Ben turned to start shooting webbing at the doorway as fast as possible and create a mass of webbing to temporarily stop the vampire. The thing would probably tear through it but every second counted.

Unfortunately, as it always seemed to be with old rundown houses you ran into in horror movies, the place seemed to be made of continuous hallways that just led to more hallways or stairs, or doors to rooms that would obviously be a dead end. How hard was it to find a damn foyer in this place?!

"DOES THIS PLACE NOT HAVE A DOOR?!" He didn't need spidey sense to know this was a bad situation, the crashing and crunch of doors they'd passed through that the vampire was now barreling past said it all. Not to mention it wouldn't be daylight for hours, and there seemed to be no garlic to be had anywhere near here. "I wish we had a Buffy right about now."

"If all else fails...stabbing with wood is stabbing with wood, stake shaped or not." He gulped and looked over his shoulder as they ran. "Nothing just that...need a distraction so he doesn't see me coming. If we really need it then...maybe a bit of blood on fire to blind the thing while I come from behind? We can hide in one room and he'll come after us? Though you need some kind of wood with you too, cover all bases and all."

Ben would admit he hated this idea, absolutely hated it, it put his friend in too much danger and he had no idea really what he was doing.

"Because I want to believe it's not a scary thing!" Even though it totally was. Their luck here only extended so far as to give them half a broken chair, two legs, and a large wooden plank snapped in half. At least there was less work to do as Ben snapped off the chair legs and gave the other Ben one. "I can't believe we're going into a fight armed with chair legs..."
