So, I went kind of crazy with the gardening today. It is so not as easy as it looks. My nails are destroyed, but my yard looks fucking fantastic. Pat on the back for me for actually doing it myself! I know you can hire people to fool around in your yard, but...I don't know if I trust a bunch of burly guys with something delicate like flowers. And my grass. Nobody kills my grass. Nobody.

Anywho! Should be an exciting weekend. It's been awhile since I went to a wedding, so wish me luck!

I completely understand what you mean, my flowers aren't to be trusted in the hands of anyone else. I still get nervous, to this day, when the daughter waters my african violets. Not that I don't trust her, there's just something about raising a plant from a seed on your own terms.

Luck is wished, but I can only ask in return that you wish me luck also- for I will be the one who is getting married.

	My neighbor hired some people to come over and work on his plants. By the time they were done, everything was dead. It was tragic. I trust myself way more than I do a bunch of strangers with weed wackers. Oh! You're Hawthorne's sister! Congradulations! (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

That's terrible! I'm with you on that. I'd much rather spend all of my own time tending to my own plants, than have someone come and destroy them. Granted it's a little hard to tend to three greenhouses and a nursery by yourself, but the girl's that work for me appreciate flora as much as I do.
