[Rafe, Gabriel, Jonas]

While I'm hesitant to ask for advice, I also don't want to risk things getting all fucked up again, so I'm turning to you three.

I'm thinking about asking Danni to find a place with me. I just keep getting this nagging feeling in the back of my mind that she might get spooked by the idea of being 'tied down' again.

What I'm asking is this: How should I approach the situation?

I refuse to give you the satisfaction of knowing how spot on your accusations are.

So your advice is to just put myself out there and risk everything falling to shit again, only this time I'll know all the warning signs and can prepare myself for her inevitable escape from the country?

We have quite the past, which I'm sure you remember, and it's like my constant fear of losing her again is always stopping me from taking the necessary steps I need to take in order for us to ever have a future.

This constant state of limbo is driving me out of my fucking mind, mate.

Your plan makes sense, in theory, although I wish there were some other way to go about this. Preferably some way where I can get out of this not feeling like a total wanker if she decides that she isn't ready.

If I ask her, and she says no, what then? Do you really think that should mean planning a future without her?

I've waited over 10 years for her. 10 bloody years. If she asks for more time to decide, what do you suppose I should do? The last thing I want to do is back her up into a corner, since that's the quickest way to send her packing, but is it completely unfair of me to not want to wait any longer than I already have?

There are so many variables to consider. Can you see why I've been going out of my mind trying to work out every angle and possibility?

I did. It was a slightly sarcastic, condescending 'aw,' but it was an 'aw' nonetheless.

I suppose it depends on how much time she wants, and how much longer you're willing to wait. But what are you waiting for, exactly? It's more than just moving in together, you want her to be committed to you, Donovan. If there's this panic about her simply moving in then imagine what the next life altering decisions are going to be like.

It's a hard situation, but I want what's best for you. Talk to Danielle about things, she's a smart girl, she'll do the right thing by you.
