This is an awesome idea
David just has a really strong urge to play Left 4 Dead 2. So he texts the only other person he can think of that would be willing to do this. He had for a moment thought of bugging Misha but he figured zombie video games might not be his thing.

That was where James came in. James likes video games. So that is how David ends up texting James to see how he feels about Left 4 Dead 2.

This can only end in awesome.

	James got the text and was glad for the chance to play. He sent a reply and grabbed a cab. Forty-five minutes later the cab pulled up outside of Xavier's. (Reply to this)(Thread)

David will be there to greet him. He has made sure there will be food for them to chow down on and soda to drink. Because sugar and fatty foods go really well together every teenage boy knows this to be true.

He also has taken over an area for them. Quite posturing and nods to people who know he doesn't do this that often have cleared the way for at least long enough for them to get settled in.

	He lets his eyebrows arch up. "That'd be another game man. Name of this game is team work. Of course I think there might be a versus mode. Haven't really looked." He rubs his chin thoughtfully. "Dude, my dreams involve girls. This is reality," David says trying to not wear a shit eating grin. This is one of the rare instances in which he is very much fully animated. He leads James in and checks to make sure no one ran off with pizza.

David is protective over food he wants to eat. "Got snack food set up. Just lemme set us up."

He starts hunting for the wireless controllers again even as he starts up the Xbox360 and the TV.

	"That's 'cause you're better at talking to them," David says with a shrug. Plus he knows there is a rule somewhere about him, Misha, and red heads which is a shame. He just won't say a word. I really do eat her out of house and home. Okay. Maybe not. She gets awesome tips." She still works at the bar. She's tough enough to keep most of the barflies there under control. "Dead Center it is/ Good starting place," David comments.

Then he explains they have four playable characters. He offers to take Ellis since Ellis has a habit of running ahead and doing very bad things. Like leading a horde of zombies to the group or setting something up to explode.

Not good. "They all handle the same. They just chatter a lot and try to help out if you're not playing them."

	Well technically James could still work on scores. Like when someone eventually startles the Witch. Or someone is getting pummeled by the Tank and they have to kill it fast. "Cool." David has forgotten too really if it's something they both should know. He was pretty much buried in school work lately.

During a time in which they are exploring rooms and trying to not run into fire David speaks up. It's entirely unrelated to zombie killing.

"I went out with the X-Men. To help with a problem. Um. First time." He stops to make sure they get a Smoker that just tried to take out Nick.

"It was weird. But I think I get why you guys do it." He hadn't really understood any of it before.

"There was people getting kidnapped in and around Nova Roma. We got asked by Corey and Cait to look into it. Turned out it was this guy who was convinced they were hurting the rain forest," David explains.

He goes quite as they have to run along a ledge and beat zombies out of the way. Not a bad thing but a little creepy looking.

"Because it makes sense," David tries to explain. "We have gifts weather we we born or needed to learn them. We can help people."

And helping people just makes sense.

"Awesome," David nearly rumbles. He might not be like Dad or Misha in some ways but in others, like loving a challenge he is every bit a Logan boy.

"That means a challenge. Don't think I'm quite as good as you."

And then a car gets thrown at David just a few minutes into the second level of Dead Center.

"It's the Tank." And poor Ellis gets tossed again while David can't quite start shooting up the Tank since he's the one being tossed about.

	And he doesn't really think he is any better at tracking than some of the others who can track. He can just do it for a long time by scent alone. He won't say anything about that though.
