It's about time
I'm finally bestirring myself from my inertia and abulia to touch up my hair. It's been months and months since I've bothered and that's really not a good sign. As in, since last year. My roots were all long and I could see the distressing amount of grey I've sprouted.

So, despite the fact that hardly anyone ever sees it, I currently have a headful of Colorsilk in Black. Since black-dyed hair is far easier to keep up than violet or blue and does less staining (of things other than hair).

Still, I tend to be clumsy and messy when I dye my hair, and my neck is gonna be splotchy for a bit.


My home-help cleaning assistant didn't show yesterday. She's supposed to come from 2-5 on Wednesdays. She called at 4:30 saying she'd had an appointment, and could she come Friday instead?

*sigh*

My dye-coated head itches. Ten more minutes and I can shower and wash it off.
