It's already edging into nasty-hot
But at least I got my needed shopping done. Ah, Fiesta, I wish I could quit you! The imports section keeps calling me back, but the service is shitty and you have to pay Very Close Attention to the sell-by dates on everything. Also it's a bit of a pain by bus. I had horrible bus timing... 3 out of the 4 legs of my trip, I missed the bus by like 30 seconds.

But I got more Turkish delight, and chocolate from the UK (yes, [info]fidrich, more Yorkie bars), and a 2 liter bottle of ginger beer, and a jar of matzo balls, and some palak paneer, and assorted other goodies. Also a few practical things like bread and salami. And some half and half to mix with the honey liqueur I am gonna be wicked and indulge in.

I saw something creepy on the bus ride home, though. A Neighborhood Watch sign with "Snitches Get Stitches" scrawled on it. That's... well, I found it to be a bit disturbing.

On my way back in through the complex, I got... questioned by one of the neighborhood kids (the polite boy who asked for a good-luck charm) about what groceries I had. I had to explain what ginger beer was. It was an odd conversation.

The L poster I ordered never came. Oh, MatsuKen, I wanted you over my bed! I filed a claim with PayPal.

In closing, BPAL's Te Po is lovely. I can live with only having an imp, but I will make the most of that imp.
