[has an enormous stack of math books set out on the library table, waiting for the little prodigy to show up. also grabbed some advanced literary books for him, as well as a few good fiction novels! because the imagination needs to be nourished as well. doesn't expect him to read everything, but rather go through at random and pick what seems to appeal to him. still isn't sure, but likes to give options. also got him this and this, because after school snacks are a must for a growing brain! now where is that tasty brain hiding.]

[hope he isn't too late. it isn't good to be late as it gives people a lower opinion of you, tardiness should not be accepted. people will arrive on time so it was up to him to do the same as well, regardless of what held him back and made him late. it is a challenge to work your way out of that, that is the way it should be looked at.]

I apologize for my tardiness. Very sorry. [bows and waits for acceptance to come to the table.] I will be sure that I arrive promptly for our next meeting, before time.

[looks down at the strawberry milk and starts to smile, get to the awkward one side up smile but it's a start. how did he know it was his favorite?] I'm sor-... I will be mindful of next time. Thank you for your input. [takes his seat with his milk and unwraps the straw, poking it into the hole and taking a long suck.] What will we be doing today? [wants to take the books one by one and start looking at them but that would be rude. turns his head to the side and scans down the spines instead.]

I pulled these books from the college library. [motions to the big cart he wheeled them in with. no way he carried it by hand. isn't Hercules.] I got a wide variety, to see which sorts of topics appeal to you most. Just pick one that calls to you.

	Yeah. Life isn't all about studying. You need some hobby reading as well. I like mysteries, personally... because it's still engaging the mind, using problem solving to figure out the case result.
