A little quality time for sisters..
Ever since they were little, Lexie and Rachel shared a room and other than an iffy phase when Rachel hit her early teenage years and Lexie was still in the little girl phase of life, it had always worked out fairly well for them. lately, between the team, school and everything else...they just hadn't gotten a chance to do it.

So when Rachel finally came up to her room for the night, Lexie had every bottle of nail polish, lotion, and manicure paraphernalia 2 young ladies tended to hoard already laid out on the bed. There was something she wanted to ask her sister and she couldn't wait any longer,

"Hey...are you tired?"

	She rolled her eyes and flopped back on her bed, "I'm not a stalker, Rach, geeze...." She laid there for a minute before rolling on her side to face her sister, "...why did you say 'he or she'...?" It took a split second for her face to flush as red as her hair. It shouldn't matter! She knew her family loved her, unconditionally, but there was that tiny sliver of doubt, that .00000001% of her that didn't wonder if it was just TO much.

"...I don't know...Don't tell anyone Rach..please?" Her voice cracked at the last of that, "I will, I just have to..." She just had to accept it herself before she could ask anyone else to.

	"...What's dad going to do, do you think?" Scott...was the wild card. Being a mutant, it made you a little more tolerant than the average person. But at the same time...it was still a big unknown...
