It had been some time since they'd had time alone. Less than a week after their last conversation, Amiko had dropped off a book for Keiji, reminded him to take it easy, and taken a few days off to go to her father in New York. Since coming back, she'd been busy catching up on work.

But now she's standing in his doorway with a pack slung across her back.

Keiji had done as Amiko asked. "Taking it easy" was not something a man like Keiji did well, but he managed. He could walk now, albeit with a slight limp. He was no longer in constant pain, aside from the occasional twinge. Still..he missed Amiko. Their last time together had been argumentative, and he regretted that such things had marred their last conversation.

He heard the sound approaching his room and turned to it. He smiled upon seeing her. "Hello, Amiko-chan."
