Like something out of a dream
Its been too long through the winter, and he knows Danielle has wanted to keep her promise to her body. Lucas also made a promise to Lyta. He's been extremely discrete about it, but made arrangements to borrow one of the vans to get out into more or less the literal middle of nowhere so Lyta can stretch her wings without any risk of being seen and the others can get some relaxation time in. He's invited Lyta, Moira and Danielle to invite along anyone they like and feel comfortable with, and who aren't going to mind the boy being along. Otherwise, he's kept it strictly between them.

He and the Hrimharisdottirs have been out this way before, but this is the first time anyone else has been invited along.

	"No problem, I know we talked about it some. I thought it'd be a good chance to relax. I've talked to some wind and water spirits, so there'll be warm water, and guards against any hikers or anything. Shouldn't be an issue though, this place is remote. The drive out to the spot to start the hike is a fairly long one, well out from any city space. Part of the reason to start so early in the morning. Still, its a pleasant drive, and he's made the girls a hot breakfast to eat on the way. He's also made sure to pack their usual supplies, towels, brushes so the Hrimharisdottirs can do each other's hair, or he can brush out Moira, as she prefers. He's also brought some extra combs, suitable for cleaning and preening feathers. There's also plenty of food for a long day out, they all have needed it for a while.
"Eat up. We have a couple mile walk back into the woods."

	He pulls up to a stop off the road at a pulloff with a trail leading into the woods. "Yeah, grab a couple towels each and one of the bags. Just keep track of everything, I promised the spirits helping us that anything we take in will come out with us." he replies, climbing out and fetching two of the bags of food and towels. He makes the trip quickly and efficiently, leading through the woods to the edge of a lake. He sets the towels down before stripping fully, then sits down crosslegged to speak to the spirits.

A warm breeze blows through the area, and the water slowly warms. Wind spirits swirl around him, then extend out to keep watch and warn him should anyone or anything approach.

"Alright." he says at least, some fifteen minutes in. "We're here, and set. We have blankets and towels, food is for whenever people want it. Make yourselves comfortable. The water should be warm enough to swim, and the skies should be pleasant flying. There's brushes and combs and the like. Lyta, when you're done flying, I made a couple of preening brushes, I'll clean your wings for you. The girls can help if they like."

"Of course, beautiful." he calls back happily. He doesn't bother to hide that he's admiring her, he never does. There's no shame in the natural, or even in sexuality. Not that they've done anything yet, until the time is right, but he appreciates looking, somehow without it being the focus of his intent, able to just appreciate his girl for everything she is at once.

He dashes for the water and dives in.

	Lucas follows after, no stranger to swimming. The water may still be a bit chill, but more 'refreshing' cold than 'freezing' cold. 	Lucas contents himself for a while with snuggling with his girlfriend and watching the other two having fun. The trip and time with Moira did have another purpose though. He kisses ner neck, and squeezes her gently to himself. For the moment, he just needs to hold her. Some things just aren't easy, and he's finally figured out, out of sorting through the worst dreams of the most powerful minds on Earth, and an evil mutant powered by nightmares, which of the fears were his. Or at least the worst of them.

"I don't want to ruin such a perfect day. But... have you thought at all about what you want to be when you finish at Xavier's? I know you're a princess, of a sort. That comes with responsibilities. I know we've only been together a short time, but I'm in love with you. Completely and totally lost kinds of in love with you. And I'm having trouble, ever since the attack, only thinking about right now."

He sighs. "I don't want to think about it either. I really don't. And its not like I'm asking for any kind of decision. I just... wondered if you'd thought about it. We don't need to decide our whole lives right now. I just... I know about responsibilities. I'm a shaman of two nations. I can't turn my back on that. And I need you to know, I couldn't ask you to give up Asgard or your pack either. If it comes to that, I'll understand."

"And of course I'm glad you wouldn't, but ...for the record, it doesn't necessarily have to be the time to deal with it when it comes time to leave Xavier's. I'd planned at first to go straight back but ...It could be a while, really, before Da really needs my help." If it came down to it, and one of them changed plans, it should be the person with more time. But... She frowns. "But he will need help, eventually." She just wants to hug now.

	Its hard to be sure. It is Lucas after all. But even he might blush if he knew that the thought of puppies even crossed her mind. Definitely not where he was going...yet.
