The Hrimharisdottirs had been planning to do this in the daytime, when Danielle could talk, ever since they'd heard, but things kept coming up, so they were going to do it now, despite her form, while they could get to it.
They sought out Cassidy.

When he's not with Izzy or Uncle Scott, Cassidy can be found in the science lab, observing some of the work that the Drs. McCoy and Reyes do on a daily basis. He's been thinking about studying medicine when he gets older, so he wants to see what's involved in doing so before he chooses.

The twins will find him in the cafeteria with his notes, studying what he's learned about chromosomal pairings and how they affect development of the unborn. Oddly, he has a firm grasp on all of the information, yet he has no idea why.

	As he's engrossed in his current task, he doesn't hear the girls. So when Moira speaks, Cassidy jumps out of his chair. "Oh, hey...Moira, right? And Danielle?" he asks, looking at the two of them. 	Cassidy blinks. More new relatives? "We are? Really? Um, how?" he asks. He hopes this is true, because he likes finding out about new family members. Sean Cassidy. His grandfather.

Cassidy smiles brightly.

"So you know Mr. Cassidy? What about his daughter, Theresa?" Cassidy asks, trying not sound overly eager. He's heard quite a bit about Alexander Summers and his brother Andrew, but he's heard almost /nothing/ about the Cassidy family.

"I don't really know much about them, besides what I've...heard." Cassidy hesitates. It wouldn't be a good idea to admit to breaking into the files room, since it would get him and Izzy in trouble.

	Moira nods. "He's a good man. He's always treated Granny well. And he was never the sort who woke up in the morning wanting to nearly kill himself stopping Japan from sinking, but he always did it anyway. Both of his parents were decent people. Cassidy was happy to know that about them. He still had a million questions for both of them, but he couldn't just walk up and tell them who he is.

"Do you two go home for Christmas every year?" he asks.

"Oh, and where /is/ home exactly? I know the Cassidys are from Ireland...but your accent is Scottish, if I'm not mistaken."

	"Last year, Mummy and Da came here, but every other year, we've gone to Granny's in Scotland, aye, though we've made trips to Cassidy Keep in Ireland during the Christmas season, too. Cassidy doesn't think he heard Moira right at first, so he replays what she said in his head several times.

"You'd...actually want me to come with you?" he asks. "I mean, yes, I'd love to...except, I don't know how Mr. Cassidy or his daughter might react to me.

As far as I ever knew, my parents gave me away when I was a baby. I've learned that that's not true, but...what if I'm not welcome?" he asks.

"Here I am, part Irish and I can't speak any of the language. I might have to try to learn some, just so I understand some of the conversation banter around me." he says.

He pauses a moment to phrase his next question.

"Do you know Thomas Cassidy at all?" Cassidy asks.
