Happy Birthday Vernique (back dated to the 21st)(open)
Birthdays were always a challenge. Asgardians really didn't celebrate them and so finding appropriate gifts could be a challenge. Svalin knew what kind of gifts to give for Yule, but birthdays, according to Syndey, one could give anything.

Svalin struggled with what to get her wife until Sydney made a suggestion. One that seemed very fitting. With Sydney's help Svalin was able to arrange everything and was quite pleased with the gift. With Solver walking along side of her, he was ten months old and now walking when he wasn't flying, they went to find Vernique.

There were some things Vernique wasn't over yet, and the moment she heard footsteps, she turned with a start and didn't relax until she saw Solver walking safely beside Svalin.

"Hey, sweetheart. What are you and Mommyone doing? Question goes for you too, hon."

"We wert talking a walk to deliver thine birthday gift to thee," Svalin said as she offered the envelope in her free hand to her wife. Inside would be tickets to Paris along with a note promising a shopping spree with Svalin and Solver acting as porters.

Dark elves similarly also did not put too much stock into birthdays, but he gave it a shot. Svalin suggested some food called 'chocolate'. Kael did not understand the fixation with the food so many Midgarders had, but if Vernique liked it, who was he to argue.
