I hear that Pandora might be pushing up daisies soon.

Fuck you, RIAA. Nearly all of my CD purchases were a result of Pandora. I found a lot of music I like that I wouldn't have found otherwise.

I think this comment sums up the problem best:

I remember reading about a time when being an industrial pioneer meant you had to have vision. Now the people who actually had good ideas are the ones being put out by the ones too stubborn to change.

That sums it up perfectly.

The music industry's going to have to change with the times. If it doesn't adapt, it'll die. What it's doing now is digging its heels in, digging its grave deeper. I say good riddance.

Agreed, more and more people are making it simply by posting their stuff on YouTube or MySpace, getting people's attention without the help of record labels.
