My life is pretty normal, for a wizard anyways. I come from a pureblood family so I grew up knowing all about magic. I knew that by the time I finally reached the age of eleven that I would go to Hogwarts. As a kid I always begged to go a year or so early. After hearing my parents’ stories of their time spent there, I was eager to experience this magical world that my parents told me about. I was in my own happy little world where everything was just perfect.
I learned not too long after that that the magical world isn’t always so “magical” though. My once happy family was ruined when my parents sat me down at the age of seven to tell me they were separating. Apparently Dad had gotten a little curious with his secretary and left us for her. I never did talk to him much after that. I live with my mom and I became the man of the house. I wouldn’t have it any other way though and I’ll never leave her for anyone else.
I guess I have to admit it then, I am a 'mama's boy' but don’t get all sappy on me for it. I avoid my father and his various girlfriends at all costs. I don't really see the rest of my family as often as I used to either. We pretty much only get together around the holidays. They are a bunch of selfish pure bloodline supporters. We didn't get along much after my parents divorced. They felt my family brought shame and scandal to their perfect lives of climbing the social ladder. My mother was cut from the inheritance and they considered it generous for us to be allowed to attend the family dinners on special occasions.
PERSONALITY
Kyle fits the stereotypical Gryffindor image quite well; he is brave and arrogant and often rushes into things head first. He often does not think of the consequences of his actions and lives by a day by day routine with his personal life. Kyle always assumes that everything will work out in his favor and luckily for him, normally it does.
A natural born leader, Kyle is often the one encouraging his peers to try something drastic. He is normally right there with his friends helping them if they need it and always loyal. Kyle is friendly towards everyone, although it is partially because of his shiny prefect badge. He will always stick up for a victim and he normally has a very good moral compass. He uses basic logic normally to discover the truth behind an incident and that is normally a good predictor of where the blame lies.
Having become the protector for his mother, Kyle has kept this trait towards most women. It's not that he thinks they are weaker; he just follows his instincts to protect them. Unfortunately, he can't protect women from himself. Kyle enjoys the chase and challenge of wooing a new girl, but once he has the girl he gets bored quickly. This trait causes him to go through his fair share of girlfriends.
Kyle absolutely loathes defeat, and when he does lose an argument he tends to become violent towards inanimate objects. His temper is mostly because he resents himself for acting like his own father in relationships and breaking hearts. If Kyle or someone he is close to is not involved in the situation however, he is able to remain level headed and composed. |
