[long, long, yesterday when the sun was high up in the sky and Izuna was still alive, back when he was still young and more importantly, alive. did I say alive? because yeah, not dead.]

[comes back to their hotel room they have been staying at with a huge grin and the indiscriminate brown paper bag under his arm, the same hand sporting another bag that has a nice aroma coming from it. took a couple of guesses to get back here since they move around so much, going to previous hotels by mistake.] Aniki? [calls out and looks around. maybe he is out.] Aniki? [puts the bags down on the cheap wooden table the place supplied and first goes to the bathroom to look for him because let's face it, there is a bathroom, a main living area and a bed. not many places to look.]

	You mean like those fruit juice ones mixed with crushed ice and fancy things sticking out of it that you see people drink in pools in ads? 	I'll get a normal one. [aniki is injured and doesn't want to put any more strain on him. puts his hand up and holds it up until he gets attention, ordering one of the pineapple and coconut combination things... and an alcoholic version for his brother. pulls out the fake id and flashes it. mwahah sucker. totally underage.] (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

[it is fun to lie to people! studies the drinks when they arrive, taking the little umbrella out of his and putting it in Izuna's. there, now he has two.] It's pretty good... very sweet. I guess that's the coconut. [and then the food arrives and... it smells so good. could get used to this kind of living, but knows he has to savor it, they don't live this kind of life, so it's just a nice illusion for now. this whole meal will probably cost more than all the clothes he owns.]

Waaah. It smells so good. [closes his eyes and takes in a deep breath, it is delicious. oh, doesn't want to wait, going straight in for the fish, shoveling it in faster than he should. is a potential choking hazard right now. the steak too! meat, real meat!] It like melts in your mouth. [cuts off a large portion of the meat and puts it on his brother's plate. he has to try everything as well.]

[gives it a try] ... Tastes so much better than beef bouillon cubes. [has never been much of a food critic and would eat burnt toast if you handed it to him but this... is really nice. gives his pasta a try, and like the bread it's very buttery and delicious. pokes a shrimp with his fork, offering it to his brother.] This feels kind of... surreal doesn't it? Two hours ago I was running for my life and now... we're in this fancy hotel, eating expensive things. It's all thanks to you.

[aaaaahn's to the fork and slips it off into his mouth, loving the taste of that as well. all of this food that they would never be able to have ever and now they were eating it. understands completely where he is coming from. it just doesn't seem real at all.] You would have done the same if the opportunity came up and with less screw ups. [breaks off some of the fish and holds it up with his hand underneath it.] Careful, it's very flaky but moist too. [everything melted in your mouth. he should start looking at the dessert menu too!]

[gives the fish a try, humming in approval. then gives his drink a try and... everything is so tasty. should they even be allowed to have such nice things? Izuna just looks so happy right now, like a little ball of... fluff joy. has always wanted to save up enough money on his own to do this, and it's still sort of the same but... it's only by Izuna's own esteem that they have this extra money. couldn't provide for him fully... it's kind of an ego blow. but won't say anything on the matter.] Let's get this parfait thing. [points to it, because it looks big enough to easily share.]
