[Prisca]

I heard it through the grapevine that you've been going through some incredibly tough times.

I would offer my condolences for your loss, but words will do little to ease your pain. I do apologize for not attending the wake, thrown in honor of your daughter - I was unable to clear my schedule.

If there is anything you need, do not hesitate to ask.

[/Prisca]

Finally, a chance to sit down and have a moment to myself.

Almost forgot about this damn thing.

You could put sonorous charms on your journal so you know when people are talking about you. Mine never wail at me, but you know, you blokes were always so chatty.

Not only do I not want to know what people are saying about me, but I also don't care, giving me all the more reason to not do any such thing.

Thanks for the suggestion though, I'll file that away.

I shouldn't care, but part of me does. Such nasty things were said while I was pregnant I don't know why.

How are you besides?

Neither do I. It must be a chick thing.

Just peachy. And yourself? Aside from people talking shit about you, apparently.

It's true. Unfortunately, it's also a "chick thing" to be vicious with a quill.

Peachy, huh? It must be a bloke thing to be so passive about that question.

I am currently planning a party for Pansy's second birthday. Would you like to come? There will be cake and punch!

Well, it's either that, or they get their husbands to be vicious on their behalf. But, I digress.

It's all the testosterone that makes us so passive - such a burden we bear.

Cake and punch, huh? Well, with that sort of advertising, how can a guy say no?
