My Characters: Part Four
The fourth installment on the RP Character Party Train. Subverted Under.

This game has been around since just after the TDF games ceased. Kierstin and I made it as a catch-all for our old characters (and some newer ones that didn't have a game that fit). Four journal systems later I hope that scribbld is the one that stays.

Putting this one together might take awhile.

Subverted Under
A game set in the fictional Burnham City and other "real world" locations.

This game is kind of a catch-all for characters from games that are no longer being played. It began on GJ and has moved as many times as necessary to keep it going.

These characters are from the original To Die For Games, the whole reason I got into rping in the first place. They were murder mysteries run by Kristin and Danielle on GJ before that died. Not all of them were "officially" played in those games, but these are all the characters associated with the originals.

	Markus "Mack" Albrecht Mack was something of a serial dater before he stole Lana away from Dragomir. They've been dating steadily since then and moved to Burnham with all their friends.
	Julia Brown All American girl. Julia once dated Mack. She's good friends with Suzanne and Anya. She attends grad school at Heaton.
	Harper Grace My second RP character ever and one of my favorites, from TDF2. Harper is best friends with Angel Rothschild. He's a serious relationship with Jon Fixmer. Harper worked at Diamond Advertising until his girlfriend Sam broke her neck falling down some stairs there. He is now freelance and works on various gallery shows. He and Jon live in Manhattan with their two dogs, Viktor and Veronica.
	Anya Kozlova Russian immigrant. She attended Ruize college and later moved to Burnham for better opportunities. Her sister is Svetlana who moved in with her. She has been dating Collin Wells and adores his son JD.
	Svetlana Kozlova Russian immigrant. Learned to speak English from her sister and their friends while living in California. She had a rather messy love life going back and forth between Drago and Mack, but eventually she settled on Mack and the two got an apartment together in Burnham City.
	Niamh McGinty Irish immigrant. Former member of IRA. Her former contacts Kevin Thomas and Aella Marcellos have also relocated to Burnham; Niamh has a tenuous friendship with both of them.
	Dr. Evangeline "Angel" Rothschild One of my favorite characters. A troubled woman with a history at the PMHF. She returned to Pleasantview to put her past to rest and ended up meeting the love of her life in Gray Stone. After a lengthy courtship they were married.
	Suzanne Suarez My very first rp character. Suzanne was a journalism major at Ruize. After the murder in her dorm she moved off campus, realized she was adopted, and found her birth mother. She hasn't had much luck while dating, getting involved with Collin Wells and later Ray (who drowned in California while she was in NYC). She moved to Burnham to be closer to her mind and forge a new life for herself.
	Kevin Thomas Former gun runner for the IRA. Kevin is independently wealthy. He is engaged to Emily Strannkin, though I don't know if they were ever married. He has an awkward friendship with former IRA compadre Niamh McGinty.

These characters are from the Pleasantview Asylum game. There were more when we were playing the game, but they got sorted down quite a bit when we decides to meld Pleasantview with Sub Under.

	Jane Carter Jack's best friend. Briefly dated the poly-amorous Elle Mann. She got accepted to a better school out of state and transferred from PCC. She returns home on vacations.
	Amelia Doyle Amelia is the niece of Gray Stone. When her parents died he accepted guardianship of her. She is sometimes friends with Clair Whitmore. She attends Heaton University and shares an apartment with Leif Worth.
	Elle Mann Poly-amorous cafe owner. She's the older sister of Elle Mann. She once dated Jane Carter and Dick Crittenden, but both relationships faded.
	Kylie Mann Kylie is the younger sister of Elle Mann. She was born Kyle Mann and had gender reassignment surgery. She was a patient at PMHF for years because of a sex addiction, as well as her denial of ever having been a boy. When she admitted the truth she was released from the PMHF. She is involved in a romantic relationship with Jack Swann.
	Gray Stone Gray is a local author, relatively famous. He's the legal guardian of Amelia Doyle. When he met Evangeline he struggled with writers block, but he was so in love he didn't care. He recently married Angel and has begun working on his next novel, a story closer to his real life than the fictional dramas he used to write.
	Jack Swann Jr. Jack is a long time slacker. A janitor at PMHF he began a relationship with Kylie Mann while she was a patient there. He struggled with the revelation that she was post-op transgendered, but has come a long way since to rebuilding their relationship. He lost the vision in his left eye after a potato gun incident and botched surgery.
	Clair Whitmore Clair is an on again off again patient at the PMHF. She suffers a form of OCD and has visions that make it difficult for her to function in society at large. She is friends with Amelia Doyle, but the girls don't always get along.

These characters were made for various sundry games that never happened (or ended) and so ended up in Subverted Under.

	Anatoli A telepathic loner. Anatoli doesn't have much of a past that he's willing to talk about.
	Adelle Wyndham The High Priestess from the tarot game; she has visions. She woke in the PMHF and quickly realized she was in the wrong time and place. Her visions stopped revolving around the world she was from and began to focus on the world she now exists in. Evangeline has been trying to help her.
	Aragon Aragon is something of an ageless trickster. He travels with Imma as his companion and keeps himself entertained by getting involved in little intrigues. Kind of like a Time Lord, except without the time traveling ability; he can only move forward as time dictates.
	Imma Another ageless traveler. She is the companion of Aragon. She was a Runic Knight, her symbol was "gift." After being rescued from the battle field by Aragon she decided to trust him and has learned to develop her abilities under his tutelage.
	Jools Le Gallo She was from CCI, but it wasn't quite the right fit for her. I moved her into subs. She's a witch who had gender reassignment surgery and is currently a spy for the US government under the guise of being a cultural attache to Japan.
	Anastas de Kooning He was from CCI, but after a drug overdose and coma he decided not to go back to school. He's a tortured bad boy with a broken heart of gold. He'll be living with his brother, Val until he can get back on his own feet.

These characters were more or less created specifically for Mausoleum Door (an old GJ community Kierstin and I played in) and the various incarnations of Subverted Under.

	Antonia Bellini Serial dater with a thing for constrictive underpinnings.
	Francesca Bellini A culinary genius who teaches Spanich at Heaton University.
	Shane Carroll A bit of a womanizer who otherwise has a good heart. He's trying to get into a relationship with Temperance, but he's not sure he's ready for the commitment involved. He's good friends with Leif Worth.
	Matilda "Tilly" Moore Foster sister of Travis Pope. She's an executive talent scout for Onyx Modeling Agency. She decided she wasn't getting any younger and was inseminated; she gave birth to her daughter Emmaline in 2009.
	Janeane Morrow Janeane is a sex worker who otherwise has very bad luck with men. Her two most recent boyfriends disappeared mysteriously. She has sworn off dating for the time being and has focused on her work.
	Katsuo "Princess" Ochi Gender fluid gay man who is madly in love with Michael Volkova. After Princess' modeling career failed to develop he became a bike messenger and discovered that he's happier this way. He's been disowned by most of his family in Japan.
	Kimiko Ochi Kim is Katsuo's cousin. She came to America to talk him into coming home and ended up getting pregnant the very first time she had sex with her friend Dennis. She decided to keep the baby and is actually a reasonably good mother to little Mariko. She still struggles to make ends meet and lives with Princess in his apartment.
	Amelia Parrish The surprisingly grounded daughter of Paul and Larissa. She's fairly down to earth considering the privileged life she leads. She has trouble dealing with her father's illness sometimes, and is still grieving for her presumed dead aunts.
	Larissa Parrish (Pope) Paul's ex-wife and the mother of Amelia. A spoiled woman who has a horrible relationship with her brother Travis and often connives her ex-husband to get her own way.
	Paul Parrish Divorcee and father of Amelia. His younger sisters Rachel and Ingrid are presumed dead after having gone missing at sea. Paul has been dealing with cancer for a several years.
	Travis Pope Naive webcomic artist. He lives with his foster-sister Tilly Moore and her baby daughter.
	Leif Worth Linguist who is madly in love with Nadja Dracht. He teaches language at Burnham University. He is good friends with Shane Carroll and shares an apartment with Amelia Doyle.
