You know, I'm counting down the days (three, by the way!) to the Quidditch finals, as in, like, I'm actually excited. A year ago, I didn't even know the proper name for a snitch, it was just 'that fluttering gold thinger'. I think I was seriously missing out! At least that's what Cormac tells me, he says 'Mummy, you're so silly to not have known stuff about Quidditch, and I'm going to be so much smarter than you about it because just look at my room with all this Quidditch stuff and you're so lucky to have me around because otherwise you'd still be in the dark and then where would you be, hm?'

Cormac's a very verbose baby for one that can't actually form full words or sentences yet, as you can clearly see.

I feel like I haven't written in this journal in forever, although it's probably only been like, a week. Which is basically forever, I guess, because a lot can happen in a week, so how are you all? Has anything horribly momentus (oooh big word, you like it?) happened within the past seven days?

I really love being home. I love being with Rosalie too, but I miss home and my baby and good news is that I'm not sick, so I can come home all I want and the point is that I really missed my baby. And Bentley and Donut and Donnelly too, it's been so weird not sleeping with at least one of them curled up in my bed. And I didn't like being at Mungo's when Mum finally came around, noooothankyou there, stupid hag

And I suppose I missed you too, Finn. :)

This has been a very long entry, I think. I should stop here, and maybe now I'll go out and get some hot chocolate because it's very cold outside despite it being March. I wish it would warm uppppp sometime soon please. :(

I think I may have missed you a bit too, I've got to see if there's a place in my hectic schedule for that moment of pining.

And Merlin, Cormac's gonna have to come to practice with me for the rest of week, looks like this kid's got some tricks up his sleeves.

I keep your schedule, remember that it is completely possible for me to make time for moments of pining.

Oh, he's telling me to tell you, 'Now Daddy, how silly. Don't you know I always have tricks up my sleeves? My very cute sleeves that are attached to my very cute dragon pajamas?'

That last part was me, actually, just because I bought him these pajamas before I came home and he does indeed look adorable in them and I think I should probably stop dressing him up but I missed him so much and he's going to have to deal with it a bit longer.

This is very true. Do I have any space for it? About a minute or so would be fine.

Oy, I think he was feeling all manly these past few days with his da, you know. Being all free and rolling around in just his diaper. Brings out the inner wild man in a boy. And it makes it easier to clean up messes.

I'm only worth a minute to you? Can you see this pout I'm giving you? :((((((((((

Oy, dragons are manly! Manly and they prevent our son from running around half naked all day. You don't want him to start thinking that's decent behavior or when he's older, he's going to be some kind of streaker. I can see it now.

Fine, fine, make it five.

This is true, dragons are pretty manly. I mean, I don't think you see blokes like Bell dealing with dragons these days. Those are the ones that get chomped up right quick.

And if the kid becomes a streaker, totally go that from his mam.

Don't make me come over there.

WAIT WAIT WHAT? ARE YOU CALLING ME A STRIPPER?

Where did stripper come from!

You said that he would get the running around without clothes on from me, and I don't know, stripper is the first thing I thought of for someone who runs around without clothes on.

Well. I guess that makes sense. But I meant more of the free bird kind of lifestyle. Which is not a bad thing, before I get myself into trouble.

Mmmm I still think it'd come from you, though. He's going to see you all topless and flexing on the cover of some magazine someday and think 'Hey, look how handsome Da is, I could totally pull that off' and before you know it, he's streaking in the middle of a Hogwarts Quidditch match.
