Alphard,

Why are you pushing this? What exactly is it that you want me to say?

PS. Only occasionally, my dear brother.

Cygnus,

I just want to know the truth. You're my brother, you can trust me.

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Alphard,

I suppose... there is some truth to the rumours.

And how is your love-life?

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Cygnus,

Some truth? So you are shagging Lestrange, or is he shagging you?

I'm not sure how I should feel about it, though I suppose it's none of my business really. Why him?

My love life is quite.. well, thank you.

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Alphard,

Why not him?

And as for details, I have none to give you. Obviously this makes you uncomfortable.

PS. Tell Walburga, and I will hex you.

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Cygnus,

It doesn't make me uncomfortable as much as it disappoints me. You can do so much better than a Lestrange, they're below us. I'm not one to usually say that, either, but this means a lot to me. You're my brother, you deserve the world, not the dreadful drama that accompanies the French.

Please, come to your senses.

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Alphard,

I appreciate the concern, especially when it comes from you, but there is little cause for it. I have don't plan on being swept off my feet, and I won't forget myself -- I haven't lost my senses. I promise you.

I'm touched, though, really, by your fretting.

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Cygnus,

I'm aware you're able to take care of yourself -- in that, I have no doubt. But when one is mixed up with a Lestrange you can never be certain. Certain situations might arise..

Well, I just want you to make sure this is what you want, and that you're alright. I'd hate to have to kill a man for you.

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Alphard,

Situations? What sort of situations? What have you heard?

I promise, I'm fine. No killing is necessary.

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Cygnus,

I haven't heard of any particular situation, but overall I know he is a brutal man. Not someone I want my little brother to be involved with.

Please, come to your senses.

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Alphard,

Really, Alphard, I appreciate the concern, but it's uncalled-for. If anything, you should be worrying about Wally -- I hear she's making eyes at Orion?

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Cygnus,

I'm not sure that it's uncalled-for, really. I've heard of his temper, of his aggresion toward the English. Just be careful.

Wally is fine, she has been making eyes at Orion, but that's to be expected. She's always fancied him, haven't you known?

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Alphard,

Enough.

And that is sickening.
