Lucius sits up in his bed at Malfoy Manor, the sun streaming in through the window in the early morning. He hadn't been able to sleep last night, not with the anticipation of Narcissa's arrival today. He'd told her to Floo straight to his bedroom, so they wouldn't have to awkwardly speak to his parents. He'd prefer it if they could just spend time together. He'd never admit it, but ever since he'd left Hogwarts the previous year and she'd had to stay, he'd missed Narcissa, even if she was naggy and annoying and insufferable. For whatever reason, he loved her, and he hadn't seen her in at least a month, and that was just terrible. His job at the Ministry was really running him down, and he just wanted to see her for a little while.

He got up out of the bed and changed his clothing, getting ready for her arrival.

	She rolled her eyes. "Evan Rosier," she answered simply. Rosier had a bit of a reputation -- straight out of Hogwarts, just four years older than Narcissa, he was known throughout all Pureblood families that he had become a Death Eater. Though it seemed glamorous, Narcissa wasn't so sure she wanted to be the trophy wife during a long war. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Disgusting," Lucius said, making a face. He'd heard about Rosier becoming a Death Eater, and he wasn't impressed. Sure, Lucius didn't really like mudbloods or muggles wandering around, but that didn't mean he wanted to kill them all. He just wanted them away from his family. Not dead. "He's a coward." 	She sighed heavily. "Yes, well, most of my family don't think so, even if I say otherwise." To be honest, Narcissa wanted to stay as far away from that group as possible, for as long as she could. She knew, though, that her family would get involved. Her sister Bellatrix was already delving into it, she knew for a fact. It hurt Narcissa to think about it. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	She frowned slightly. "I'm not marrying you because of that," Narcissa told him moodily. Of course, his family was very prestigious, just like hers, but she didn't want to act solely on the fact that he was important. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	She simply smiled and lowered her head back down to his chest, resting it there, fingers idly making patterns on his side. "You know, I'm not so sure that I'll be able to go another month without seeing you again. I may have to keep you in my dormitory for the rest of the school year and you'll have to call in sick."
